This one I'm not entirely sure what caused it but I was trying to figure out where we were going and I threw my shotgun on the ground to use the map tablet, and it randomly got dragged into the void and I had to reload the save to get it back. it did not fall through the ground, it actually got dragged away as shown in the video. Both of us have relatively stable internet and are on Oculus quest 2 headsets using steam VR.
