#LIV prevents the game from launching

🛠️ Description: Installed "LIV" (All-in-one VR software for creators) prevents the game from launching, even if you disable "LIV" overlay app and "00liv_virtualcamera" SteamVR Add-Ons. Only full uninstallation of "LIV" makes the game possible to run.

Please, notice that many other people report about LIV incompatibility, using other hardware(not Varjo Aero).

🛠️ Steps-to-reproduce:

  1. Install "LIV" via Steam.
  2. Run the game.
  3. The black screen appears for a few seconds and then the game closes without any message.

Reverse is true: uninstall LIV → run the game → the game is OK(menu & tutorial at least).

🛠️ Frequency: 100%

🛠️ VR headset and controllers:

  • Varjo Aero HMD,
  • Valve Index controllers, connected via USB dongle.

this is known and has been reported before, as you said the fix is just to uninstall LIV until it is fixed.
