🛠️ Description: For the most part the game runs fine, and then suddenly freezes completely. It happened in all 3 main areas, but was most noticed in the Forest map.
🛠️ Steps-to-reproduce: Unknown
🛠️ Frequency: Every few minutes in the UNPSC Facility, rarely in the Peninsula, and very frequently in the Forest
🛠️ VR headset and controllers: Quest 3 with link cable
🛠️ Using Steam VR (for Oculus users): No (Game is on steam, but it never opened SteamVR)
🛠️ CPU/GPU/RAM: RTX 3060 Laptop GPU, Intel I7-11800H, 16g Ram

Almost definitely a lower end hardware issue, but it seems to be loading specific things that cause issues, albeit very random things. I engaged in combat and noticed no drop in FPS among other actions, no one thing caused any lag it just happened occasionally.

laptop gpus are usually much weaker so that might be why it randomly freezes cause the game is loading something in also they have little no vram

yeah I usually figure that's the route of most performance problems, although itr 1 ran fine and itr 2 seems to run decently on low settings as well. I was also recording the game which definitely had an impact, but the freezing lag I was experiencing felt like something specific was loading that caused it

it wasn't a general drop in frames

im getting smooth frame rate but it is a generaly low framerate do you have the same thing? or is it just frame drops

the framerate isn't bad usually, like it's normal most of the time then something loads and it goes from normal to frozen, something loads and it kills the performance

My buddy (non-host) was having the exact same issue but only on the forest map so far, has a mid-high end computer with a 4060. Just random long freezing.

yeah overall performance is good but something weird happens occasionally, also brings up an issue where the player camera moves half a second later than my real head. I fixed that by turning off the headset and turning it back on real quick but it happened a lot

I get the same problem, sudden drops in fps despite having great performance most of the time, most often in the base, less in the forest and much less in the peninsula. Happens on all graphics settings. Only way to fix it is to go to the main menu.

I have a desktop with a 3070, i7-13700K, 32GB ram

I hope the first update will be them trying to optimize it
