A dark grey surprised me. I usually make the crests brightly colored, but since the head is already a bright color, darker crests seemed to work really well

Awesome! I was thinking you could add a brighter color like red, orange, yellow, white, or a mix of any of those to the crests. The black in the center of them already looks really nice, so I figured something bright on the crests would be a really nice touch. Regardless, the skin already looks amazing!

"Hey look, I actually finished the Bird if Prey Deinonychus. I aimed for the male and female to look really similar to follow along with the idea of birds of prey not showing much sexual dimorphism. But for gameplay purposes, the female's "red shoulder" is darker, her body is more grey, and her skin is a lighter yellow. The Red Shouldered Hawk and the Crested Caracara were my main references"

Personally, because I tend to aim for realism, I would've gone with a dark green instead of blue, and the yellow or orange on the crests, throat, osteoderms, and tail would've been awesome. But it all depends on what you like and if you're aiming for realism or a less-realistic skin

This skin is probably the one that means the most to me, this is the “Panama” Laten based on Van Halen’s album 1984 and Eddie Van Halen’s guitar, the iconic Frankenstrat. Eddie was my main reason for wanting to learn guitar, may he Rest In Peace (1955-2020).

That cav skin looks great but I don’t think light skins work on cavs, maybe try that style on herbies, I’m no Dino skin genius but it’s just a suggestion
