It's simple math really.

The raffle system improves odds for ranked users. I would put down numbers but they're not the real time numbers so, you'll have to just trust my explanation here. Basically, the system duplicates entries of ranked users meaning that they have multiple entries for just one entry. If you calculate the odds, the percentages are in favour of ranked users. This percentage however is not accurate at all times since there is a ratio between the entries of normal users and ranked users that we use to simplify calculations.

In simple words, the system definitely works (checkout the previous giveaway where we had 10 out of 15 winners having ranks). So, the odds definitely vary depending on the total number of normal users in the giveaway. It's a lot of numbers and calculations but, trust me when I say that the system definitely gives ranked users a higher chance but, with all the theories of probability, there are variables to consider amidst all this like - total number of reactions, the ratio of normal users to ranked users, the total number of winners, etc.

I don't expect the average user to understand these details but, if you did understand, kudoos because that's a lot of math involved.

gosh, I wonder where these theories arise from. I've had my fair share of conversations with actual members of the Discord Trust and Safety Team and here's what I've learnt about the use of alts within Discord.

You are free to have multiple accounts on the same IP. As long as you do not break the ToS on either of the accounts, there's absolutely nothing to worry about. Using alt accounts has been a gray area of a lot of the rules governing the safety of the user and I guess some people just like to use this lack of knowledge to twist stuff into their favour.

  • equip a base gun with aether/sprite
  • save it to a loadout
  • equip that saved ‘blueprint’
  • tap the epic/leggy/mythic you wanna look at (dont equip)
  • tap on upgrade then back out to gunsmith
  • save that epic/leggy/mythic to the same loadout (overwrite the base aether/sprite you saved)
  • back out of that menu, go back and it should show the aether/sprite epic+
