TL;DR:
We've got new ways for you to earn rewards and they involve being the first to complete a challenge. Therefore, being familiar with the rules and submissions system (prior to the new challenges getting announced) will give you an edge over the other participants.

We highly recommend reading the full announcement as it dives into more details.

We've got some exciting news @everyone

We recognise that it has been a while since the last time we offered a way to earn rewards without any luck being involved (such is the case with our seasonal giveaways). And it's about time we fix that! However... this announcement is not about the special events you are all familiar with!

We have designed a new system and we've got one more type of events for you all that will be referred to as... Discord seasonal challenges!

These events will be entirely different from our special events series that have been in a deep state of sleep. They will not involve any leaderboard climb either. Instead, they will involve racing to being the first to complete the seasonal challenge, and in most cases, there can only be one winner.

Don't worry! We realise that all of you come from different places and have different timezones. Therefore, challenges will be announced automatically and at different times in order for them to be catered to a different timezone with every new challenge. We will announce — in the future — all the dates, times and intervals at which we expect this automatic system to announce new challenges.

As for the nature of the challenges, they can involve any game mode, playlist, map or objective. And they will all be decided at random! ||(with some configurability to give playlist X a 10% chance of being chosen at random, for example)||

There will be no way for our staff team to predict what the new challenges will be due to the factor of randomness, so please avoid asking us what the next challenge will be. We may update the list of available game modes, playlists and their odds every season to accommodate for new objectives and for the new schedules of limited time playlists.

Discord seasonal challenges will start during Season 2 of Call of Duty: Mobile.

You will find below this announcement a message from our custom-made bot that will allow you to toggle your notifications for our future seasonal challenges. It will also allow you to take a peek at the full challenge rules and submission instructions. Please make sure that you have carefully read and understood these guidelines! The #challenge-submissions channel and the "Submit" button underneath this announcement will both be available to you (for a limited time) in order to test out the submissions system to better prepare yourselves for the upcoming season 2 races!

Feel free to send us your test submissions. You may submit any record from any game mode or playlist as part of your tests. ||(However, please make sure that you are respecting the submission rules and instructions during your testing, the only rule you are allowed to violate during this test period would be the spam rule, any other rule violations are actionable.)||

We understand that this is all new to you so take your time to get adjusted to these changes and ping me with any questions or concerns you may have in our #old-server-support channel.

Cheers!

More updates regarding the Discord seasonal challenges! <@&1072647906789691392>

We've noticed that many of the people who submitted test submissions have failed to truly abide by the instructions, as they skipped over the differences between Match Details and Detail Report pages, or ignored the instruction to avoid using the in-game Share button for the screenshots.

We've made some changes to the system and added safeguards to emphasize on the importance of each part of the challenge guidelines, as well as updated some texts to (hopefully) be more clear.

We've also added a new rule (#6) to prevent any alternative account abuse. Allowing us to lower the minimum in-game level requirements and invite newer players to these events! Which brings us to our poll:

Which of the following in-game level requirements do you wish for us to implement for our Discord seasonal challenges?

1️⃣ - 150
2️⃣ - 125
3️⃣ - 100
4️⃣ - 75
5️⃣ - Lower than 75

Please vote by using the respective reaction below.

Special Events: Prototype & Initiative

If you have been here for more than 10 weeks, you might remember the event we hosted for Call of Duty: Mobile's first unique main seasonal event: Gold Rush (season 6). You can find the trailer for it here:
https://youtu.be/TpXL0eJgoqE

Our members were tasked with playing Kill Confirmed together and share evidence to become part of a private random draw (giveaway) where 10 lucky winners received 7,000 COD Points in total. Of course, this was an easy task as the event was a prototype and we wanted to see how the community will feel about locking rewards behind challenges or tasks. The feedback we received was positive and the vibe around the community channels during the event, especially the team-up category, has been great. Which marked our prototype event a success.

After the prototype event's success, we started brainstorming ideas on how we can improve it or make things more challenging for bigger rewards. We wanted to do this right and in a clean way, so we developed a system for our custom built bot, @dense crystal, that allows us to run our next special event smoothly. We will continue to build more systems into our custom made bot, that can handle the other types of events we have planned for you.

What This Means:

The launch of our special events would allow us to bring you more rewards as a community. This does not affect our #community-events-🎁 channel at all as we are still planning to host celebrations there. And do not worry, bringing a new type of special event would not mean we will give up on all the other types of events we hosted. The systems our events adopt will always make a comeback in the form of another special event. This applies to our prototype event as well. Which brings us to our next section...

#

Event Series: Introduction

Every new special event we will introduce will adopt a system of our choice that will decide what series of events the special event will belong to. We will introduce more event series as we get the opportunity to launch their first special event.

We already have a wide variety of series planned and we are working on all of their systems from behind the scenes. We hope you will like all the special events we will host as some of them can be full on competitive & rewarding to the top participants whilst some can only grant you access to a private draw (giveaway) upon completion. This will be an interesting mix for us and hopefully for you too. We are always happy to hear your thoughts on this as it will help shape the future of our event series!

Event Series: Codependency

This series will include special events with a leaderboard system, where you will be required to team-up with members of our community to complete tasks that will award you the points you need to climb up the leaderboard. This means that you cannot climb your way up by completing tasks alone, hence the word "Codependency".

All participants will be required to send evidence of task completion on a special submissions channel in order for our staff team to award you the points you deserve for your individual performance.

This event series will consist of competitive events only as the rewards will be big and reserved for the top participants on the leaderboard.

Codependency I: Solstice Awakened

This special event is part of the Codependency Event Series and is involved around Call of Duty: Mobile's unique seasonal event: Solstice Awakened (season 8). You can find the trailer for it here: https://youtu.be/dpTcujED7xk

You are tasked with teaming up with members of our community and collecting Exchange Items. Every item you collect during your team-up will award you Event Points which will help you climb up the leaderboard. For all information about the event and its rules & guidelines, check out the pinned messages of the special submissions channel: #event-submissions.

The prize pool for this special event is 19,600 COD Points, unevenly spread across the top 20 participants. Check out the special leaderboard channel for more information: #event-leaderboard.

This event is only available for players with the global version of Call of Duty: Mobile.

Good luck, @everyone!

Channel Introduction

The administration team of this Discord community have created an events system to serve as an alternative online competition system. These events feature competitions sponsored by Activision Publishing, Inc and managed by the Discord community staff (unless explicitly marked as otherwise). They are limited to this Discord community and adopt a submissions and review system.

🔐 Only members with the chat XP level of 10 or above can participate in special events.

#

Eligibility & Participation Prerequisites

In order to participate in our Special Events, you must ensure that the following conditions are met:

⠀⠀⠀1 - You must be a Call of Duty: Mobile player that is registered on the Global version of the game. You can download the global version from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android).

⠀⠀⠀2 - You must be familiar with our server rules found in #information-desk. Your username, profile picture and nickname — or otherwise any details that may show up on the Event Leader Board — cannot contain any text or images that violate our server rules.

⠀⠀⠀3 - You must have reached the minimum chat XP level of 10. Your chat XP progress can be viewed by triggering the ".rank" command in our #bot-commands channel.

⠀⠀⠀4 - You must have read the Terminology section of the pinned messages and understood all terms. Words or phrases that are written in title case (in other words, start with an uppercase letter) can refer to a term from the aforementioned list. This is crucial to your understanding of the events system and rules.

⠀⠀⠀5 - You must have read ALL the descriptions and pinned messages of the special events announcements channel and Submissions channel. Their combination defines the global events rules. Any violation of said rules can lead to your direct elimination and/or your Team's elimination if you happen to be part of any team.

⠀⠀⠀6 - You must understand that any failure to adhere by our Event Rules, no matter how big or small, can lead to a permanent ban from our Special Events or the Discord server in general.

⠀⠀⠀7 - You must understand that in the event that a system failure or other unpredictable events interrupt the Special Event, there is a chance the event would be abandoned or suspended. In such rare occurrences, top Competitors may not receive their rewards.

⠀⠀⠀8 - You must accept all the decisions made by our moderation team in regards to a Competitor's score or participation and understand that Activision or TiMi Studios hold no responsibilities as these Special Events are entirely managed by the community.

#

Fair Play & Enforcement

As a Competitor, you must abide by the following rules and ensure that all your Teammates, if any, are adhering to them.

⠀⠀⠀1 - All Competitors must respect Call of Duty: Mobile's Security & Enforcement Policy and Terms of Use.

⠀⠀⠀2 - Competitors must not send duplicate submissions. Any duplicate submission, no matter if it is intentional or not, can and will be considered as a cheating attempt. It is your responsibility to delete any submitted Evidence from your gallery to ensure it doesn't end up on another submission by mistake.

⠀⠀⠀3 - On Team Ranking Events, unless mentioned on the Submission channel's pins to do otherwise, submissions must only be sent by one Team member who played the match that is being submitted. This responsibility can be passed to another team member after their gaming session ends. The rest of the team will also be held responsible if any duplicate submissions are found.

⠀⠀⠀4 - If you are asked by a moderator, for whatever reason, to provide your UID and turn off Streamer Mode and enable your in-game Match History, you must oblige in order to avoid a direct elimination.

⠀⠀⠀5 - Any and all Competitors that are suspected of cheating can and will be disqualified, regardless of the number of offences made.

#

Ranking Styles

The style at which competitors are ranked can be one of two types:

- Individual Ranking: Participants are ranked individually, despite being permitted, or encouraged or required to queue-up with other Participants.
- Team Ranking: Participants that formed a team are ranked as one entity.

#

Ranking Scopes

The event leader-board can have one of multiple scope settings that define which submissions are accounted for:

- Most Recent Submission Only: Your event score is overridden on each submission as the most recent Submission Value will define your event score and leader-board ranking.
- Top Submissions Only: Your event score is set to the combined total of your best submissions with the highest Submission Values.
- All Submissions: The combined total of all your Submissions Values will be your exact event score.

#

Match Settings

Every special event will require participants to play matches in a certain environment with specific requirements. These settings can be a combination of multiple requirements such as: playing a specific game mode or playlist; playing with a certain number of Discord members; and much more.

#

Challenge

On top of the match settings that define the pre-game requirements, competitors are challenged to do their best in order to increase their event score. The challenge they are given can vary from completing a certain objective (i.e: getting 1 confirmed kill, capturing 1 flag, etc.) to collecting a certain item. The challenges are listed in the pinned messages of the special submissions channel whenever a special event goes live.

#

Evidence

Every time a Competitor plays a match that respects the Match Settings, they must submit screenshots or screen recording that prove their participation in order to collect their well-earned Event Points. The format of the evidence (image or video) and its origin (which in-game page it was taken from) will both be defined in the pinned messages of the special submissions channel.

#

Submissions

Our Special Events are powered by a review-based system where Competitors submit evidence of participation in a special submissions channel. Each submission must adhere to the Match Settings and Special Event rules and contain the required evidence with a caption that follows a specific format that is defined in the pinned messages of the submissions channel. Submissions are then reviewed by our moderators in order to protect fair play and ensure the submissions are valid. A special thread with the approval queue will be publicly available in order to check on the review process.

#

Teams

Special Events that adopt a Team Ranking style require Participants to form teams and compete with the same roster for the rest of the event. In contrast, special events that adopt an Individual Ranking style will not restrict you when it comes to which players you are allowed to queue up with. They may only define how many players you are allowed to queue up with.

#

Team Rosters, Roster Changes & Roster Lock

In order to join or create a team or edit its roster, participants are provided with a set of commands they can trigger from the moment the event is announced until there's 48 hours left for it to end. These commands can be viewed by the triggering the following command in our #bot-commands channel: .help events. In order to view the commands syntax, pass the command name as an argument for the .help command. For example: use the .help join command in order to view the syntax of the command that allows you to join someone's team.

Creating a Team

Use the .create command in order to create a team.

Joining a Team

Players who wish to join another player's team can use the .join command. This will log a join request to the team inbox.

Adding Teammates

Team leaders may only add players who requested to join their team. They can view the join requests from the team inbox by using the .inbox command and accept or decline them using the .accept or .decline commands, respectively.

Removing Teammates

Team leaders may use the .kick command in order to remove someone from their team. Team members may also choose to leave their team by using the .leave command. Be very careful not to trigger these actions during periods where joining or forming other teams is no longer possible. Any form of unfair abuse of the commands listed in this paragraph (or the one above it) may lead to administrative actions.

Roster Lock

Once a team is satisfied with their current member list, the team leader may use the .lock command in order to block any further join requests. They may undo this by triggering the same command again. Rosters are locked automatically if there's less than 48 hours left until the event ends.

Transfering Leadership

Team leaders may use the .transfer command in order to transfer the team leadership to another team member.

#

Event Progress & Leader Board

Every live special event will have its own leader-board within a special thread channel that will rank the top competitors based on their event score. In order to check your progress, you may use the .eventinfo command in the #bot-commands channel.

#

Event Rewards

The rewards for each special event are based on the match settings and the event's overall difficulty, ranking style and duration. These rewards can be exclusive to the top competitors and vary in value depending on their placement. The list of available rewards can be seen in the pinned messages of the submissions channel (or in the event announcement).

Hey @everyone!

We're not ready to host a special event just yet but take a look at the above pinned messages. We took a long break to implement changes that allow us to switch things up and make the events fun for everyone. A more notable change would be the introduction of Teams and roster systems!!!

Take your time to read all of it and get familiar with it. A changelog will be available soon in #system-updates that dives into the ins-and-outs of the event based commands and how they're handled. Stay tuned!

#

The #event-submissions channel is now public again, but in a read-only state. We're still not ready to host a special event, but we hope this would give you a better understanding of how submissions operate.

Past special events adopted a general submissions format, which will be seen again in our future special events. So take a look at the submissions channel history to see examples of such. For those who participated in our past events and are already familiar with event submissions, enjoy the free nostalgia!

Cheers.

Hey @everyone! Quick heads-up regarding our next special event:

It will be based on Multiplayer game mode and will require you to team-up with the same people for the duration of the event (3 days long). Your team must consist of 3-5 players total and your leaderboard grind will be based on the total score of all your submitted matches. So start looking for teammates in the #lfg-multiplayer channel. The details for team based events are available in the pinned messages here, the team commands will be made available to you once the event launches to allow you to register your team.

The prize pool will reach up to 98K COD Points, split unevenly across the top 20 teams (with 560 CP being the lowest amount given to every team member of the top #20 team, and 2000 CP being the highest for every team member of the top #1 team).

Event ETA is set to 1 or 2 days from now. Only members with the <@&958724531445436466> role on their profiles can participate, so make sure to find teammates with such roles only.

pearl kestrel
#

Hey @everyone, we've enabled the commands to register your team! You can view these commands by using the .help events command in our #bot-commands channel or reading the pinned messages here to understand the entire teams system.

Once again, make sure your teammates have the <@&958724531445436466> role on their profile and are from the global version of the game. Make sure to select teammates you trust as we won't interfere with in-house drama and be sure that all your teammates understand and follow all the rules in a strict manner. You can look for teammates in the #lfg-multiplayer channel as they have to be members of our Discord.

The event will launch somewhere around May 19th, at 8:30am UTC. Good luck building your team!

⠀⠀⠀We're finally back with a special event, @everyone! We've timed this one with the in-game Steadfast Warrior event to enable all participants to snag some cool rewards as they actively participate on our Discord event. This in-game event features a bunch of cool items such as the CZ95_codm_rankedshieldcard Ranked Shield Card (x10), CZ96_codm_crate Dedicated Operator (x30), PP19 Bizon - Déjà Vu weapon blueprint, and more!

⠀⠀⠀Now onto our newest special event! This one is the inaugural event for the Comrades-in-Arms event series which will hold all the events that challenge you to play with the same squad throughout the entire leader board climb — in a race towards the top, against all other teams. Enter, Comrades-in-Arms I: Ground Wars.

⠀⠀⠀Comrades-in-Arms Ⅰ: Ground Wars requires teams of the same 3-5 players (from our Discord) to queue up together across the entire event and fight to capture as many locations as possible in the Ground Wars MP playlist. Three members of your team must be placed in the top 10 allies within the match in order for it to count (this is explained better as you read more of the event details).

⠀⠀⠀The rules for submitting your played matches, along with the other rules regarding the event rankings and objectives, are made available to you in the top pinned message of our #event-submissions channel. The other pinned messages there and the messages pinned on this channel detail all our special event rules that will have you and your team disqualified if you happen to fail to follow or understand them. Be sure to read the rules carefully before engaging in this event.

⠀⠀⠀You will have to register or join a team using any of the #bot-commands listed under the .help events command response (more info in the pins).

⠀⠀⠀The prize pool will reach up to 98,000 COD Points and the rewards will be shared across the top 20 teams as revealed in the earlier announcement.

<@&958724531445436466> We're adding the minimum requirement of 20 approved submissions in order for a team to be eligible to claim their prizes. In other means, if your team doesn't have 20 or more approved submissions (20 correctly submitted matches) by the end of the event (in less than 3 days), your team will not be eligible to claim any prizes. Regardless of how well you perform during the first 19 matches.

Reminder that the person submitting the matches has to be part of the match queue. Do not attempt to submit matches you didn't play in going forward. This goes directly against rule #3 under Fair Play & Enforcement rules in the pinned messages here. Any such mistake will be regarded as a cheating attempt.

Furthermore, only one person within the queue should submit the matches until they take a break from playing. Only then would it be okay to pass on that responsibility to someone else.

pearl kestrel
#

<@&958724531445436466> The event ends on <t:1653208200:F> as previously mentioned. Since the team management commands are now disabled (as there's less than 48 hours left until the event ends), it's now a competition between the teams that are already registered. It's been fun keeping watch on the competition. Keep at it and good luck!

We should note that participants need to be familiar with the rules pinned across this channel and #event-submissions. As well as read our every announcement here and understand it. We've emphasised on this several times in the aforementioned sections. Yet, we still see some participants competing without fully grasping the rules or allowing themselves to make mistakes that would normally be flagged as cheating attempts or have their submissions get straight up rejected without a chance for resubmission. Our moderation team has been dealing with such people pinging them to let them know they messed up in order to coordinate a fix. Let it be clear that such coordination was never agreed upon. You are supposed to follow the rules in a strict manner and avoid any mistakes. Any mistakes made will lead to the rejection of your match submission.

In other means, if the submitter makes a mistake, they are automatically deeming their played match as disallowed. No exceptions are to be made from this point onwards. You should make sure that whoever it is that is assigned the responsibility of submitting matches is fully capable of following the rules, and that the assignment itself respects the rules by not having it get passed on to someone else when the previous submitter is still part of the match queue.

TL;DR: The remainder of the on-going special event will be moderated in a stricter manner and you and your team must be fully capable of following the rules. The moderation team will not waste time helping you rectify your mistakes when they are to be automatically denied.

#

P.S: The submitted screenshots have to be taken by the submitter. If they are incapable of taking screenshots of the Match Details screen without skipping it, do not assign them the responsibility of submitting matches.

pearl kestrel
#

The event has ended 5 hours ago. Final reviews will be conducted behind the scenes and we'll have the final winners announced on the Event Leaderboard thread under the #event-submissions channel.

Thanks to everyone who participated and we hope to see even more of our members participate in the next special event that may have different settings than the ones you've seen so far.

The #lfg-special-events channel will remain open for players with the <@&958724531445436466> role in order for them to get a head start in finding teammates for the next events. Keep in mind that these events may vary in the minimum and maximum amount of teammates allowed.

In the meantime, make sure to read the pinned messages across both event related channels in order to fully grasp our rules and have a hassle-free experience moving forward. This is very crucial to your participation as many of you have realised from taking a look at how everything went down this week.

#

Event Rules

All sections pinned across this announcement channel and the Submission Channel represent the full set of rules applicable across all or current Special Events. Members who engage, interact or otherwise use any components of the events system are subject to strict rule enforcement. Any minor or major violation of these rules will disqualify you from current and/or all future events. Thereby, interested parties are advised to read all contents of all pinned messages across any channels with the keyword "event(s)" in their names. It is your sole responsibility to read, understand and follow the event rules in a strict manner. Should you find yourself unable to understand any section of these rules, you are advised to enquire about it to the staff team before participating.

#

Competition Setting

The special events hosted on our Discord community may follow one of two competition settings:

⠀⠀⠀1. Solo Competition (or "Individual Ranking")
⠀⠀⠀Competitors compete as individuals. The prize pool will be shared across the top competitors according to their individual rankings. This competition type comes in two forms.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀1.1 True Solo Competition
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Competitors are instructed to queue for matches alone, without anyone else in their party.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀1.2 Play Together (or "Solo Competition")
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Competitors are instructed to queue with any one or more members of our Discord community (can be different people every game). Each party member will still be ranked individually. This is the default setting for solo competitions.

⠀⠀⠀2. Team Competition
⠀⠀⠀Competitors are required to form and register a team of individuals prior to (or during) the event start. Each Team member will have to play with their registered Team members only. The prize pool will be shared across the top teams and split between their individual members.

#

Eligibility & Participation Prerequisites

In order to participate in our Special Events, you must ensure that the following conditions are met. Team Competitions require every team member to meet these same conditions in order for the entire team to be able to participate.

⠀⠀⠀1 - You must be a Call of Duty: Mobile player that is registered on the Global version of the game. You can download the global version from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android).

⠀⠀⠀2 - You must be in good standing with respect to any game account, with no undisclosed violations of the game's Security & Enforcement Policy or Activision's Terms of Use. You are solely responsible for the safety of your accounts.

⠀⠀⠀3 - You must be familiar with our server rules found in #information-desk. Your username, profile picture and nickname — or otherwise any details that may show up on the Event Leader Board — cannot contain any text or images that violate our server rules. Any violation of these rules will disqualify you.

⠀⠀⠀4 - You must have read the Terminology section of the pinned messages and understood all terms. Content that is written in title case (in other words, start with an uppercase letter on each word) can refer to a term from the aforementioned list. This is crucial to your understanding of the events system and rules.

⠀⠀⠀5 - You must have read and understood all the contents and pinned messages of the special events announcements channel and Submissions channel. Their combination defines the global events rules. Any violation of said rules can lead to your direct elimination and/or your Team's elimination if you happen to be part of any team.

⠀⠀⠀6 - You must understand that any failure to adhere by our Event Rules, no matter unimportant it may seem, can lead to a permanent ban from our Special Events or the Discord server in general.

Fair Play & Enforcement

As a Competitor, you must abide by the following rules and ensure that all your Teammates, if any, are adhering to them. Failure to abide to these rules can and will result in your direct disqualification from current and future Special Events.

⠀⠀⠀1 - You must respect the Security & Enforcement Policy and Activision's Terms of Use at all times. Use of any cheats/hacks during the Special Event will lead to strict enforcement following a report.

⠀⠀⠀2 - In order for us to keep better track of every Competitor's in-game profile, you must not have Streamer Mode turned on during any of the matches you play for the Special Events.

⠀⠀⠀3 - You must be ready to abide by the moderators' request in the event you are asked, for any or no reason, to provide your UID and turn off Streamer Mode and enable your in-game Match History. Failure to oblige will result in a direct disqualification.

⠀⠀⠀4 - You must not engage in our special events with the intent to cheat or spoil the integrity of our events in any way and at any point during the Competition. Any attempts to sneak in wrongful submissions or bypass the submission criteria or unfairly gain or regain any event points that should otherwise be denied shall be considered as cheating attempts and may result in a direct elimination on the very first attempt. Any and all Competitors that are suspected of cheating can and will be disqualified, regardless of the number of offences made.

⠀⠀⠀5 - You must respect the rules under the "Submission Rules" section in a strict manner as any mistake or wrongful submission, may it be intentional or not, will result in strict enforcement.

Submission Rules

Our Special Events are powered by a review-based system where Competitors submit evidence of participation in a special Submissions Channel. Each submission must involve a match in an environment that adheres to the Match Settings revealed in the top pinned message of the Submission Channel when a Special Event is live. Submissions are then reviewed by our moderators in order to protect fair play and ensure the submissions are valid. A special thread with the approval queue will be publicly available in order to check on the review process.

⠀⠀⠀1 - On Team Competitions, and if the Active Submitter Setting is turned on, all Team members are responsible for ensuring that all the rules listed under the "Active Submitter Setting" section below are strictly followed. The ON/OFF state of the Active Submitter Setting will be disclosed in the pinned messages of the Submissions Channel during a live event.

⠀⠀⠀2 - On Solo Competitions, each Competitor must send evidence of participation, regardless if the community members they queued up with have already done so and have pinged/mentioned them.

⠀⠀⠀3 - Submitters must not send duplicate submissions. Any duplicate submission, no matter if it is intentional or not, can and will be considered as a cheating attempt. It is your responsibility to delete any submitted Evidence from your gallery to ensure it doesn't end up on another submission by mistake.

⠀⠀⠀4 - Submissions that respect the above rules must also respect the "Submission Criteria" section below and must originate from the Submitter's own device and game account.

⠀⠀⠀5 - Submitters must send evidence of participation over to our Submission Channel as soon as their match ends. Do not keep more than 1 set of evidence pending in your gallery.

#

Submission Criteria

All submissions sent by Competitors be properly formatted and include the correct attachments (images or videos) as indicated by the top pinned message in the Submission Channel during a live Special Event. This criteria is broken down into two sections: "Required Caption Format" and "Required Attachments". These two sections are explained below and must be strictly respected on all submissions. Failure to do so may lead to disqualification.

#

Required Caption Format

The Submission Criteria will require a caption that follows a specific pattern with certain variables in them that reflect their performance in the submitted matches. This pattern and variables are defined on an event-to-event basis, on the top pinned message of the Submissions Channel. Each variable must be replaced with its accurate value as any wrong values may be regarded as cheating attempts and may lead to disqualification.

#

Required Attachments

The Submission Criteria will require screenshots/recordings of specific pages. These pages are usually titled in correspondence with their title in-game (as seen on the screenshot/recording). This is always done intentionally in order to prohibit pages that look the same but are titled differently based on where they were accessed from. Such an example would be the "Match Details" page and "Detail Report" that reveal the same data, except "Match Details" represents a page from the After Action Report, whereas the "Detail Report" page represents a recording from the Match History. Do not submit evidence with pages that are titled differently. This can sometimes be considered as cheating attempts, as they are almost always singled out for a reason, especially in the case of After Action Report vs Match History.

Active Submitter Setting

On Team Competitions, the Active Submitter Setting is turned ON by default (unless explicitly marked as OFF). In this setting, one member of the registered team will be given the title of Active Submitter. This is publicly shown with the help of the [AS] prefix on their nickname (i.e: "[AS] Abdou"). This title is assigned in different ways and comes with its own set of rules and responsibilities. When the Active Submitter Setting is turned OFF, all Competitors are free to submit evidence of unique matches that were not submitted before. This ruleset does not concern Solo Competitions..

⠀⠀⠀1 - The Team member that posts evidence in the Submissions Channel must be part of the match queue/party. They must not submit matches they haven't played and cannot submit any matches that were not part of their current gaming session (unless a moderator instructs them to resubmit older matches).

⠀⠀⠀2 - If the Team is yet to submit any Evidence in the submissions channel, the first registered Team member to do so will be regarded as the Active Submitter and their nickname will be modified. They must not remove the added [AS] prefix under any circumstances as it falls under the management of the moderation team.

⠀⠀⠀3 - If the Team has any pending or approved submissions, the Active Submitter must maintain their responsibility of submitting evidence and can only pass it on to a Teammate if they can no longer participate in the next matches. The Teammate this responsibility is passed on to will be regarded as the new Active Submitter and their nickname will be modified. They must not remove the added [AS] prefix under any circumstances as it falls under the management of the moderation team.

⠀⠀⠀4 - Any submissions sent by Team members who do not hold the Active Submitter title will be denied along with all subsequent matches.

#

Ping Requirement Setting

On Solo Competitions, the Ping Requirement Setting is turned ON by default (unless explicitly marked as OFF). In this setting, each individual Competitor is required to ping/mention the community members they queued up with in the caption of their submissions, with respect to the Required Caption Format. When the Ping Requirement Setting is turned OFF, and in all Team Competitions, the Submitter will not be required to ping/mention any member of the match party.

Teams, Roster Changes & Locking

Team Competitions require Participants to form teams with restrictions on how many members they could have. In order to join or create a team or edit its roster, participants are provided with a special set of commands available to members with the chat XP level of 10 or higher. These commands can be viewed by triggering the following command in our #bot-commands channel: .help events. In order to view the commands syntax, pass the command name as an argument for the .help command. For example: use the .help join command in order to view the syntax of the command that allows you to join someone's team. You will find below a portion of the aforementioned commands.

Feature is enabled 48 hours before the event starts
✱✱ Feature is disabled once there is less than 48 hours left until the event ends
✱✱✱ Feature is enabled 48 hours before the event starts, and disabled once there is less than 48 hours left until it ends

Creating a Team ✱✱✱

Use the .create command in order to create a team.

Joining a Team ✱✱✱

Players who wish to join another player's team can use the .join command. This will log a join request to the team inbox.

Adding Teammates ✱✱✱

Team leaders may only add players who requested to join their team. They can view the join requests from the team inbox by using the .inbox command and accept or decline them using the .accept or .decline commands, respectively.

Removing Teammates ✱

Team leaders may use the .kick command in order to remove someone from their team. Team members may also choose to leave their team by using the .leave command. Be very careful not to trigger these actions during periods where joining or forming other teams is no longer possible. Any form of unfair abuse of the commands listed in this paragraph (or the one above it) may lead to administrative actions.

Roster Lock ✱✱✱

Once a team is satisfied with their current member list, the team leader may use the .lock command in order to block any further join requests. They may undo this by triggering the same command again. Rosters are locked automatically if there's less than 48 hours left until the event ends.

Transferring Leadership ✱✱✱

Team leaders may use the .transfer command in order to transfer the team leadership to another team member.

#

Event Progress & Leader Board

Every live Special Event will have its own leader-board within a special thread channel that will rank the top competitors based on their event score. In order to check your progress, you may use the .eventinfo command in the #bot-commands channel.

The leader-board will display 3 different values:
Total Points: Your overall Score.
Submissions: The amount of valid submissions sent.
Avg. Points/Submission: The average Submission Value across all valid submissions.

All competitors will be ranked by their Total Points. If any two or more competitors have the same score, the highest Submissions count will attempt to break the tie, followed by the highest Avg. Points/Submission.

#

Prize Pool

The rewards for each special event are based on the Match Settings and the Special Event's overall difficulty, competition setting and duration. These rewards can be exclusive to the top competitors and vary in value depending on their placement. The list of available rewards, along with any extra details that may concern all competitors, will be revealed on the Special Event announcements.

The rewards will be sent to the winners through their in-game mail and must be claimed in time. All winners are solely responsible for keeping their accounts secure throughout the entire duration of the event. Any party involved in attempts to trade the prizes with other members will result in a direct ban from all our events and/or community.

Hey @everyone! Make sure to read the updated pins & rules in a careful manner in order to fully understand the rules and avoid any disqualification from our next events. All our events will adopt a very strict moderation style that assumes everyone has full knowledge of the event rules. In case you do not have said knowledge, do not participate. You will only risk losing access to such events over what appears to be silly or minor mistakes. This is all in spirit of making sure the event runs smoothly and the competition remains completely fair.

As for the next event, more details regarding it will be available very soon. In the meantime, make sure to RSVP below!
