So to combat that I used my skills I gained against sliding snipers back in the day, and now made a cordite/shotty build that so far eats through the five stacks I been stuck against.

Game limitation CODM doesn’t allow ADS during a slide for most weapons. Sliding is considered a “tactical” movement, and aiming down sights is disabled during the animation.

ADS mode settings If you’re using “Hold to ADS” instead of “Tap to ADS”, it might feel like it’s not working because the moment you slide, the game cancels the ADS input.

Even if you start ADS before sliding, initiating the slide will cancel it unless you're using specific builds or perks.
