The newest optimization is to clear as many daytime locations as possible.
Day 1 is usually just Sanitarium.
Day 2, we always have 1 teammate fly to Nuclear to spawn in the zombies in the big road, fly back and land the helicopter at the front entrance of Sanitarium. The main player will clear Sani as much as possible and fly to Nuclear at 45-60 seconds.
Day 3-5, depending on the locations and mission RNG and how much time we have, we try to clear in this order.
Launch Base or Standoff>Bus Station>Second Half Nuclear>First Half Nuclear>Sanitarium.
There is usually 1 teammate that will focus primarily on driving the helicopter and spawning/hording zombies while escorting the main player around the map.
There will be another teammate that sits on top of the Sanitarium PC room that qRob showed above hording all the zombies. During the last 40 seconds, the main player will fly from Nuclear to Sanitarium and can gain an extra 25K damage in just 10 seconds by clearing the PC room with Ray Gun or utility, this is much more effective and faster than having the main player run around searching for zombies in Sanitarium.
If D3-D4 is Sanitarium, then the main player will place a cannon turret near the PC in Sanitarium and a teammate will stand on the turret to attract zombies, and the main player won't need to fly back to Sanitarium during their route on D3-D4.
This daytime optimization is the reason why 11.4M has become much easier to achieve. Therefore, if the main player has enough loot for turrets, teammates should prioritize spawning and hording zombies in these locations rather than finding sniper ammo.
