How do i clean this efficiently without ruining my motors , the motors are already coming to the end of there life and do malfunction regularly through wear but ive crashed it in sand and now im wondering how to clean .

So three things ;

How to clean the sand out ?
Is it worth cleaning the motors?
And how long on average do peoples whoop motors last them ?

Fast solution is to clean out motors by blowing compressed air while moving bell back and forth to clear out obstruction

#

The dirty fast solution is to spray in a bit of ptfe and then attempt to clear blockage with compressed air

#

Anything else involves taking motor apart

#

If it's a whoop you can also try and soak the motors in ipa

#

For a few h

#

Then compressed air

#

Only if nothing else helps, whip out the tools and take it apart but make sure you're careful with c clips and washers

#

C clips tend to fuck off into random corner of the room at mach jesus, while washers bend fairly easily when mishandled

#

Usually my motors last me a couple of months on whoops, i had one set for like 4-5 months and it's still chugging along although the whoop feels pretty underpowered now
