the only realy requirement is the frame needs fit a caddx moonlight kit
a tall frame where everything is stacked on top of each other i feel like would be cool and easy but considering how tall the moonlight is idk
I run my 10” on 5S, 8S is not necessary
If I didn’t have such oversized motors I would be using 4S
yeah ill probably see about getting away with 4S to save on battery costs
heres what we are looking at
i have no clue if any of these are good
motors are 1400kv
could go lower if needed but idk how low i can go with only 4S
For a 10in 2810 motors is IMO the minimum but 2816 is popular as well as 3115.
Frame just get an EVO.

A 2207.5 is more a 5-6in motor or 7in at max
More affordable Rcinpower EX2809 Plus 800KV 4-6S Brushless Cinelifter Motors are available now. Also check out our other 28XX motors and all our RCINPOWER products! Specifications: KV: 800KV No. of Cells (Lipo): 4-6S Configuration: 12N14P Stator Diameter: 28mm Stator Length: 9mm Shaft Diameter: 4mm Idle Current(10V): 1
i have no clue what kV to go for im just trying to give myself the best chances of powering everything with 4S
speed doesnt matter either really as long as i can manage probably like 30 or 40mph ill be happy
So for 10in usually 900KV or 1115 is what people run for freestyle or cruising on 6S
here is the math for 900KV
Putting the tip speed at around 0.88mach
Trying to go above 0.92 is usually just gonna create drag and kill prop effeciency.
To get the inital max RPM your motor can spin you:
motor KV *Battery max voltage = max speed your motor can spin no load.
take that and then punch it into prop tip speed calculator
https://hoverhawk.com/propeller-and-fan-tip-speed-calculator/
SO you'd probably looking at ~1,300KV-1,500KV for 10in 4s
assuming you are a relatively light build and only carrying a gopro etc
if you wanna carry a lot of weight prob go down some then
Only thing I'll be carrying is the battery
Assuming 5000mah isn't too heavy
nah ur fine for 10in
I have a 5000 6s and gopro
ur 2 cells lighter and no gopro
