Final Check over Drone Build

hey, so I know I checked over this build a while ago but I just wanted to double check that this all still looks like a good choice

also seriously considering using the o4 instead with budget goggles like the integra or n3

That's an extremely overkill FC and ESC combo, you do not need nearly that many amps and you don't need a H7

you can also consider 6s for something that heavy

hmm ok, i remember being told that for 3.5" 6s was a lil overkill and would lower battery life. how would you choose between 4s and 6s

if you have a heavy 3.5" build, it'll probably benefit from it

voltage sag + more power in full throttle

if you are trying to keep low on weight, a setup with a 6s battery will end up heavier

also the 20x20 speedybee esc is known to be not that reliable

not specifically really, often stacks that have AM32 feature a nicer FC as well

speedybee and flywoo are VERY popular so they get to order the parts and pcbs at a much larger scale

and thus can make things SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper

but also at sacrifice of QC

ive had 2 of the mini escs die for no reason after a month of use

by no reason im talking i plugged in a battery and smoke came out

oh so should i avoid it because of that or is that ok? i’ve heard sometimes that sort of stuff comes loose in a crash and can prevent turtle mode and returning but i might be wrong

you can also just solder it to the pads since it has both plugs and pads for everything

they make higher mAh cells now as well

@sudden lagoon this video is like basically addressing the exact question i had about the speedbee f405. instead of getting that flywoo stack do you think it'd be ok to get a speedybee fc and a foxeer esc and just pair them together since they have the same pinout

oh wait, it looks like you can only buy the speedybee fc as a stack

so is it stupid to wait till the speedybee fc dies and then replace it with a foxeer esc? or is it likely that other stuff will get damaged when it dies
