#Dji o4 lite on pavo 25 v2?

Probably would need a mount
Or go with the Pavo femto unless you need that GoPro mount
It’s cheaper and comes with O4 installed
i want to be able to carry some kind of action camera so what about the pavo 20 pro or pavo pico?
Pavo pico is pretty similar in size
Pavo 20 is too small
aw man
how does the pavo femto compare to the pavo 25 v2?
i was originally gonna get an o3 but now they're rlly expensive
Probably pretty similar
25V2 can carry a camera however with one it’s gonna be very sluggish and have short battery life
What do you plan to do with this drone? @prisma spire
Also what goggles are you getting
im getting the integra goggles
i think i'll fly this one for fun mostly
once i get better i can consider getting a 5 inch
Probably will want to go with an O4 lite without an action camera then
It’s image quality is close to the O3 and it’s a lot cheaper
It’s fov is a bit low at 120 though
Or alternatively if you care more about the camera recording quality then you could go with the N3 goggles which are cheaper then integra at $200 and go with the O4 pro at $230
Then you won’t need an action camera at all
true
And you could move this system to a larger drone when the time comes
i dont need super high quality videos bc this isn't for any professional stuff
o3 or o4 lite will work just fine
i like the pavo25 more bc it has longer flight time
femto is like less than 5 mins which seems kinda short to me
i just need to find an o3 that's not rlly expensive or find some way to put an o4 on the pavo 25 v2
Yeah though I can’t imagine it’s the most durable which is why if you plan on doing any light freestyle stuff I’d avoid it
Adds weight when you’re trying to prioritize flight time
i want to do some freestyle but nothing crazy
Pico and femto have shorter flight times but are made to be a bit more durable
i see
25 is just made for recording mostly
25 uses 4s battery but would it be fine to use 3s?
or is it just compatible with only that
Eh probably wouldn’t want to
Pavo 20 may also be a good choice
Or if you want something much more durable that can freestyle a lot better then maybe go with something from AVION RC
I was originally getting one of their drones before I decided to build my own
is the pavo 20 more durable than the 25?
I believe so
This is a really good choice and comes with everything ready
They also sell a version without the o4 or o3 for you to install your own

https://avionrc.com/products/Ikon-2.5-MAX-(WITHOUT-O3)-"NEW-2024".html
Bit uglier in looks but the performance is gonna massively outperform the light Pavo drones
are there any other options from other companies that could be a bit cheaper?
cuz i can get pavo25 for $165
Not that I know of
Doesn’t come with the camera though
yea thats the problem
So you’ll need to buy that separately
if only the o4 could work with it
then just $275 total
and plus 350 for the integra is 625
65 for radiomaster pocket which should arrive today
You could save $150 with going with the N3 instead since it’s $200
You just can’t use the O3 then
i dont want to use the N3
Then with the IKON 2.5 at $200 and the O4 pro at $220 and N3 at $200 it would be $620 for a much better drone
Why not?
It’s very good for the money
Screen is very clear even with glasses
If your set on the O4 lite then probably femto
However i think going with something with the O4 pro may be better as you’ll save $200 down the line when you want to build your 5”
i feel like integra goggles better screen and quality
what if i get the pavo20 pro instead
i've found solutions to put the o4 lite on the pavo 20 pro online
and it should be more durable if i crash or freestyle
They’re both 1080p integra just has 100hz instead of 60
However n3 actually has better latency with its race mode
yea i think i want 100hz
you’ll get a much better picture with the O4 pro and worse goggles then the O4 lite as
60 is alr for monitors and stuff unless u game
O4 lite was designed for very small drones so it sacrifices a lot of things
but 100hz when it's right in front of ur eyes should feel a lot smoother
Oh yeah also lite can only transmit 60fps so actually there’s probably no benefit
Oh wait it can
O4 pro is the decendent of the standard o3
The normal o4 is actually an O4 lite so it’s not really good to compare
i think o4 lite is a small upgrade over the o3
O4 lite also has a very short video cable so it can’t be used on any drones bigger then really a 3”
and o4 pro is like the real successor
It’s more of a sidegrade which sacrifices in most areas for weight
still o4 lite is like half the price of an o3 now for similar performance
Also it’s a lot less durable
i've heard the video on the o4 looks better than o3
There’s a whole issue rn where the connector on the camera size snaps
People have Jerry rigged fixes though
i can 3dprint stuff to protect it if needed
Honestly I’d still heavily recommend the slightly worse goggles for a much better camera that can be used on future drones
Pictures quality will be much better along with fov and durability
My N3s just arrived and the screen looks very nice
O4 lite can be used but your sacrificing so much in exchange
so then if i get the N3 thats $230
o4 pro is also 230
so thats 460
I think there’s a bundle for the n3 and o4 pro for a bit cheaper
o4 lite is like 100 and integra 350
Rip bundle ended
what drones and goggles do you have?
I’m currently building mine rn
when i get a 5 inch drone i might get one that's BNF so it comes with o3
These are the parts I have so far
Most BNF drone have the option to buy without a camera system so you could save $200 by transferring the pro over once you do that
Yep
niceee
speedybee?
Yep
Frame is very good for the price
Also one of the few frames that supports the O4 since it’s so new
yea i looked at their drones too
This image is the wrong version actually
$420 for N3 and O4 pro
$60 for radio-master pocket
$45 for the frame
$50 for fc stack
$60 for the motors
$10 for radio receiver
$10 for prop packs
$30 for battery charger
$90 for battery’s
So $775 total
Camera system is the most expensive part of a digital drone so that’s why I think you should go with the 04 pro since you’ll get to reuse it
So if you end up doing something similar then you’ll only need to pay $265 for the drone parts and new batteries since lite can’t be used on bigger drones
