You can change it in betaflight your all good
the marked jst plugs are inverted
i had to twist the wire inorder to take a picture
Yes the red dots will spin anti clockwise
That’s why they are done like that. So you can plug them in and they will work
But for you. Just solder straight
And u can change in betaflight
alright, thanks
No problem
Those pads look good. Make sure to tin the heck out of both them and the wires
more tin would allow for stronger wire hold
Yes
Yes
Are u good at soldering?
Cause u can make it easier
i can say im okay
but i have a soldering station
maintaining the temp of the iron can help solder better
yeah this was just a test fit
Good
i will be taking everything apart so its easier to solder
Yes. And make sure ur motors can fit through the holes
dont want plastic fumes on my joints
they can
already tested
Perfect, ur good!
Hahaha, I solder like that now cause it’s easier and uses less wire
But it’s not fun
Good luck then
If u need any help with betaflight come back
thanks gang
tiny solder pads frustrate the heck out of me
sure will!
You will get the hang of it
Try solder them all in one session
So u get into it
My first one and last one are always shit
But the other two are good
ohh
yeah my last time soldering, i was hesitating on the first motor pads
rest came out clean
Ah that’s good
For all the pads. I tin them all first
Then I tin all of the wires
Then I attach them all
do you have a experience with tinywhoops?
the right way to do it
Yeah I have built 3
woah
Hahahaha u get the hang of it 😅
It’s fun to find the cheapest parts. I built one for under 50 pounds
50 pounds??
im from the middle east, i literally rebuilt air65 cuz drones with cameras cant be shipped here
and ended up spending 160 pounds
AHHHH
any advices on what to put on the ufl connector?
dont want it
breaking
Just a heads up
I absolutely love those motors
But they are a pain in the ass
alright, ill use that
😭
I’ve had to resolder this damn joint over 10 times
I did it neatly the first two and after that I got fed up
But other than that they are basically indestructible. Just try not to put too much power through them constantly
ohh those joints
they come off even with the heat shrink on?
too much power as in full throttle?
Yeah, but I mean, I was running them on 550 mah
Yup 😔
thats wild
more flight time..?
Yuppp
And also i had them already
And I didn’t want to spend more money on smaller ones
But I dunno why more people don’t use them. I got a solid 15 mins cruising about my house
gah dayum
15 mins???
so theres also a regulation that restricts imports of lipos, if my 300mah doesnt make it through the customs. a local is selling 450mah. weighs alot more but do u think thats the move?
It not a bad move at all
Especially to learn on
U need to modify the frame with zipties though
i have had another build before this
analog pavo 20,, digital focused board running analog. i flew it without osd
again, custom regulations
my concern is, it adds weight
my tinywhoop would be about 17 grams
and 12 grams for the lipo
Mine was 10 if I remember correctly
beta fpv?
Yupp
If Ur going for flippy floppy freestyle
prolly that
i wanna learn tricks
Yeah stick with the small battery
I just wanted to hit gaps
So big battery was chill
ahh i see
i have no idea, prolly like 2 more weeks
yeah for the motors
Ahhh alright. Take ur time then 😁
Or if the battery is not a scam price. They are fairly useful anyway. And u could use that to setup while u wait
It is a scam price, 10 pound a piece
Damn, that is a scam
