i have found chris rossers filter settings arent perfect for most builds. I would leave gyro lowpass 2 on at around 500 or 600hz as it doesnt cost much filter delay at all. and the default dterm filtering method in betaflight is fine, just use the dterm slider to dial it in

most of the filtering gains you see will be in rpm_filter_q and rpm_filter_weights

My only issues with it is there is still a tad wee bit of prop wash, and I'm not sure how good the dynamic damping to feedforward ratio is, if you had any advice on it I would appreciate as I did try to correct the little bit of overshoot I didn't really manage to remove by lowering the feedforward with the dynamic damping (well, I could've fixed the overshoot but then the feedforward would have been at like .6-.5 and the response was kinda slow), but I probably didn't do the best job with it

you can also use it to run a lower base dterm to reduce motor heating and compensate with dynamic damping

to use it with feed forward you increase feed forward to a value that you like and then bring dynamic damping up to reduce the overshoot
