My friend is in the process (he has not flown it yet) of building a 5" and he is using the Radiomaster RP1 nano as the receiver. Once he initially installed it, it worked (powered on and showed no signs of issues) but now it will not work. The soldering connections are right, and the we know for a fact that it is getting power because it flashes green for a second once turned on, and then promptly turns off. We really don't want to have to get and install a different receiver. Anyone got ideas? Thanks! Here's a video of the receiver as well:

Where do the wires go? What pads did you connect each receiver (RX) wire to on the flight controller (FC)?
If you've got a multimeter it'll be useful to check the output voltage on whatever FC pad you're using to power the RX
I don't have access to the drone but I'm pretty sure everything is wired to the fc correctly. I think he does have a multimeter but idk if he's tried it on the pads yet
It would be good to double-check the wiring
Also check that the boot pad isn't connected to anything
ill see if i cant find a good photo of his wiring and check it out'
im not exactly sure but he says he put it into boot mode by taking the ground wire and powering it on
he said that he has used a multimeter, there are no shorts, and that when he plugged it into the elrs software it still said it wasn't responding despite it being in boot mode
Wait so it's confirmed to be in boot mode?
Does your friend have a Discord account? Might be easiest to get him talking in here directly
yeah he does he's just at work rn it might take a little while
Yeah that's fine
from my understanding it is in boot mode but if it seems to you that it might not be then idk
No I also think it might be in boot mode, given what the LED's showing
