Hey guys, need some advices about the frame and motors, assembling a 5inch long range drone, gonna put 6s 2200mah on it, which frame will better fit there SpeedyBee Mario 5 or AOS 5 V5 (found this two good looking with good reviews), and some help with motors will be better to take T-Motor Velox v3 2207 1750KV or IFlight XING-E pro 2207 1800KV? Or maybe you have some better options, glad to any help!

Hey. 5" isn't really for long-range. If you could specify your purpose for the quad (how far are you planning to fly it to) and under what conditions, would be very useful.
yeah, you are right, we are talking about 2-4 km range, most likely for cinematic, but there should always be an option to switch batteries to lighter one and fly freestyle
I have a 5" with the Mario 5 Frame, it's good but pretty heavy for semi-longrange cruising
what the weight of the mario5?
i mean do you use the max setup or lighter one
I don't really know
like i mean this extra plastic things
oh yeah, helly 860 hurts, but mine seems to be same around this
do you also use 2200mah?
and for how long can it fly on normal cruise speed
Around 4 minutes max with camera
well, yeah, weight makes itself felt
I might wanna remove the metal air intake thingys
And go to lower pitch props
Because now at full throttle it goes like 220 km/h and pulls around 160A
Not very efficient
and which kv is on your motors?
any problems with overheat?
Nah
Motors are pretty much cold on landing
I didn't stress them with freestyle yet tho
This is the type of flying I do with the quad

A cinematic flight over Sa Coma Beach in Mallorca during a winter sunset!
Very nice spot to fly in the winter!!
My Quad:
- Mario 5X Frame
- VCI 2306 1950KV Motors
- Skystars KO50 ESC
- Speedybee F7 V3 FC
- iFlight ELRS Nano RX
- TBS M10 GPS
- DJI O3 Air Unit
- Tattu FunFly 1300mAh LiPo
My Gear:
- DJI Action 4
- Radiomaster Boxer Crush
- DJI Go...
so i actually guess there is more sense to take a 1800kv option, but is there any to take higher one?
If you're just cruising then probably no
I'm not an expert on motors though
I was building this quad also for some freestyle, not only cinematic, so I decided to go with 1950kv, also because they were the only ones actually available at my store without preorder, so I went with them
