Hello, i own a betafpv 1-2 aio. I got it fpr free because the osd chip on it is broken. My question is: could i use this with walksnail (the 1s kit) and still get osd or does walksnail also use the osd chip on your flight controller?

You can use it with Walksnail and get an OSD as long as you have a free UART to solder the VTX to

Walksnail does not require that the FC have an OSD chip. The FC sends all the telemetry values to the VTX via the UART serial connection. The VTX then sends all of that data to the goggles/VRX, which then builds and overlays the OSD elements on the incoming video feed. All digital systems work this way.
