#Gyro can’t calibrate and giving weird values

Brought my drone overseas and tried flying it yesterday but couldn’t get it to takeoff. Had a look through kiss to see if I can find the issue and it seems to be the gyro/accelerometer. Whenever I calibrate it it briefly goes towards zero and then the angle starts rising and will continue to do so reaching around +15.

And the drone can be seen trying to compensate for this which didn’t allow it to takeoff and instead flipped. Also if I put it in level mode the motor outputs can be seen on kiss trying to compensate.

Anyone know what the issue may be or how to solve this? The drone was working fine and was flying less then a week ago with no changes made. (Also I’m pretty new to the scene)

Also just noticed when I press calibrate without the battery installed the angle values stay somewhat controlled, only moving up to around 0.8 at the highest. However when I install the battery the values instantly shoot up to around 10
