Hi everyone, I'm attempting to connect my first build to Betaflight/INAV, but I'm encountering an issue. Although my computer detects the USB, I keep receiving a 'failed to open serial port' error in Betaflight. I've attempted to resolve it by changing the USB port and applying the ImpulseRC driver fix, but unfortunately, nothing has worked so far. My setup includes the Blitz F745 stack and other drones get connected.

Have you tried just flashing new firmware to it? Hold down the boot button while you're plugging in USB

Also there are many different types of usb cables, for some flightcontroller need a different cable, you may want to check all the cables you can find

I heard on windows sometimes a restart is required. I am not using windows but what about removing the devices from device manager and restart

I tried everything possible with no chance, i have a blitz mini F7 and it works just fine but not this FC, does the blitz F745 require a specific driver to be installed? Because it’s a matter of a driver and not cable nor ports

Hmm, the flight controller is successfully identified in the device manager... are you able to show us what the com port dropdown looks like in Betaflight when you're trying to connect?
