A few years back, someone on this Discord server was trying to convince others to get into a specific crypto which was basically a pyramid scheme. This is how I roughly remember it:

  • you earned mainly by recruiting others (I think you got a percentage of their earnings)
  • you were “mining” by watching ads daily in the app (everything was actually pre-mined)
  • you were not able to convert coins into money, except for a handful of influencers. this drove up the price due to near-zero offering and great demand, and this is the “value” the company advertised with
    .. I think the branding was yellow? Unsure ..

So what was the name of that scam again? I tried half a dozen queries on Google and DDG, but couldn’t find it.

Also please avoid mentioning the user who was trying to peddle it. This is not a user naming and shaming topic.

we have had many like that but after the account is banned their messages are deleted

In this specific case, the user was not banned. Although I dont know if they ever returned as I was mainly (very) active here in 2020-2022.

Their roadmap hasn’t been updated since 2021 either. So no actual changes in production in 3 years it seems. They’re supposedly working on KYC (Know Your Customer).
