I am trying to setup a old fc that I was running DJI on to now run analogue however I cannot seem to get the OSD to work. I am running a fatshark adaptor on my goggles with AV IN and tx800 VTX with IRC TRAMP setup.

Yes I do. VTX is connected to the fc and then the camera is connected to the respective pads.

and what was wrong earlier
and why that issue came about

it was set to MSP, I'm assuming from previously been set up for digital which uses MSP communication to transmit OSD info to the VTX
that changed it to use the MAX7456 chip, which is the physical analog OSD chip on the FC

yes thats right The fc was on a OLD lr build that i ran the O3 on.
