Hey guys, I've got this Diamond F4 and Betafpv 0702SE for a whoop build. But when I started to configure the motors and plug in the bat as one would, motor 4 smoked, so I unplugged as soon as I see the smoke. Now I've checked the soldering with a multimeter and it's all good so I'm sure there isn't any short from my soldering. I've also noticed the area where the motor 4 pads are gets really hot just by plugging the bat in. Any idea what this could be?

I guess I'll have to replace the one motor with by buying a new set but if the board is faulty then I'll have to replace it too.

That pool of solder near the VTX antenna was presoldered so can't be that

If you can get the little clip off the bottom without losing it

You can separate the bell from the stator

#

and we can take a closer look at the stator coils to see

Moved the bell so you can see all coils

If you can just get real up close with a bunch of light and inspect it yourself for blackness
