I need help getting my OSD to appear, I have one setup in the betaflight OSD menu. But its a no show

I heard that display being off in configurations can turn off the osd, and display is off. But I can't turn it on either, it just closes itself after save/reboot

does it at least show the betaflight splash screen when you plug in?

No
I do have TBS fusion plugged into my goggles which has some of its own OSD, but it hasn't been a problem for me in the past getting the Betaflight OSD to work

that’s weird. is the stack older? are you sure the camera wiring is correct? i read sometimes not grounding the camera properly can cause issues.

Its really weird because I have an older stack that is the same kind and it just works
The one key difference though is that the vtx has a cable that goes straight to the camera rather than it going to the video pad on the board
I feel like thats the issue, but also it means I would have to do a bunch of soldering and I'm in denial I think
I do have the option of cutting the wire and having it connect to the FC rather than it going to the camera

i get what you mean, yeah sometimes that can be the issue, i had a rush vtx that was giving me this issue, the pads were labeled in a really confusing way so i had it wired wrong. i would try that and make sure everything works that way at least, it’s a hassle but it would clear up any ideas of a faulty board or chip
