#speedybee f405 V3 Sd Card issue

Maybe try reformating it and make sure it's fat32? And if that does nothing you can try a manual format through command line? I'm not super sure as I haven't put an SD card into my speedybee yet. I might just buy the one thy sell because all mine are 128 gig or more.

As far as I know, this board has a known issue where you get either OSD or SD card, but not both (because they share the SPI bus)
Omg, that's such a mess. I guess I pick osd!
Yeah, it's an unfortunate design oversight that was made in attempt to free up chip pins for other functions.
Also, for this board, be VERY careful about the USB. Its very weakly mounted and it's not uncommon to see it rip off.
So I should just solder sd to pen pins?
?
Pwm pins*
That's not how any of that works?
Sorry, thought that would be funnier. Just messing with you haha.
ah xD
my osd works and I know the sd card worked but now it doesn't
how do I format throgh cli?
Not through cli, through windows command prompt. But try the normal way of just right clicking it and hitting format from the my computer screen. There may be some way to format it via cli but I've never thought of that before honestly.
@static owl Accessing the SD card might work if Blackbox is disabled, since it might defer the SD initialization to when the FC switches into mass storage mode.
However, on this specific FC, the OSD will freeze when you try to log blackbox data to the SD card.
Is this specific to the v3? I have this flight controller(not sure what version) and was considering getting an SD card for black box, but im not gonna waste my time if it won't work
All I know is that the F405 V3 suffers from this issue. No clue if the wing does too
Gotcha, thank you.
do you happen to know what Betaflight target that board uses?
The f405 wing is only compatible with inav and ardupilot.
Ah. F
no way for me to check then
cause I'm no good at reading INAV board configs
No worries, small sd cards are cheap these days.
