#Help needed setting up O3 unit to SpeedyBee F7 BL32 V3
60 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
do you have it plugged into the integrated connector?
?
the O3 unit comes with a cable able to connect to supported FCs directly
yea
okay
are you using a different RC link, or just the O3 as a receiver with the DJI radio?
just O3 with the controller 2
- disable serial rx for UART 1, and set it to VTX (MSP + Displayport) in the peripherals dropdown
- enable serial rx for UART 2
disable the one from UART 1 and change it to UART2 ?
yeah you just toggle the switch in the serial rx column between the two UARTs
okay changed and saved
get a screenshot now just to verify
that's not UART 1
I'm surprised it connected back just fine, and that it even let you save that
do not touch USB VCP unless you absolutely know what you're doing
you said:
disable serial rx for UART 1 (its off by standard),
and set it to VTX (MSP + Displayport) in the peripherals dropdown (i did)
well that's not UART 1 though
uart1 is litteraly below that
so i need it to change the setting on UART 1 right?
put USB VCP back to what it was in your original screenshot, and enable MSP VTX Displayport for UART 1
yep looks good
now what
set the OSD mode to HD in the OSD tab
yup i do see OSD
oh neat so that just works too right off rip
yeah just wanted to say that my controller is already binded to my O3
I think you're good to go then
one last question (just foe sh*ts and giggles) i do have some LEDs panels for my drone, how do i play with the leds
i have a SpeedyBee master 5 V2 Frame
are you willing to sacrifice a little bit of firmware stability for a rainbow LED effect?
nah just one solid color
