I built a drone a month ago and it flew fine and it had no problems. I built a new drone and finished it 2 days ago and when I armed the new drone, motor 3 was making a weird noise and I tried many things but nothing solved the noise problem, then I tried to put my old drones motor 3 onto my new drone to see if the problem was in the motor or in the flight controller, so I did and nothing changed, but I noticed that when I arm the drone and raise the throttle a bit then stop, the motors start to wind up like a jet engine and keep on winding up until they reach max throttle and the only way to stop them is to disarm the drone. So then I thought that maybe the problem is with the flight controller, so I took the bad motor and soldered it onto my good drone and then I armed it and the problem had happened again, so I thought that the problem was in the motor until I put back the original parts on to each drone then when I tried to fly my good drone the motors started to wind up like in the bad drone even though the original parts were in it.

So has my bad drone infected my good drone? pls help

The motors winding up is normal, if that is your question. Without the propellers on, it will wind up. With the propellers on, it will not wind up.

If your props are set up correctly, this is simply the behavior of the I-term in your PID loop and will be fine

It's I-term windup. This is what happens when your props are not doing what the flight controller wants.

Happens on every drone if prop/motor direction is wrong.

Tell you what. Put it outside in a safe, soft area like short grass and just blast the throttle. See what happens. Keep your finger on the disarm switch

You could also pull a blackbox recording

#

To do this, erase the blackbox in Betaflight, then do the thing where it spins up again, then get the file out via Betaflight and send it to me
