What is this damaged component on my old Mobula7 FC? I don't remember breaking it but it is clearly broken and has exposed copper.

looks like an inductor "1R5"

I had to get my camera like 1 inch away to even get that picture because of how tiny the component is.

But knowing that it is an inductor is enough to start some research into it, thanks!

You have destroyed the cover of the coil, but if you are still getting 5v on the 5v pads, and the thing boots up and arms, then it may be fine.
If it works, i wouldn't worry about it. cover it in some e6000 wouldn't hurt.

if it's broken you can probably solder a new one on with some patience
