Were you able to get the radio apart at least?
Yes
I just don’t see where I need to get
There should be a metal strip that provides tension to the throttle stick
So I would need to remove the main board too to get to it?
Yea I think so
Ah, well thanks. I’ll try again and look for it
Still thinking of a good lube I have on hand to use
@drowsy idol you mean this thing?
Yes
Jeez, they’re in there…
Could petroleum jelly work as a lube or nah
I wouldn't
Okay
What’s a common household item that would work or should I suck up and buy a grease
Grease
well thanks for the help so far, sorry if this has gotten annoying
Nw
Okay! So I found 2 possible things that I believe could work
I would use the lithium grease
Pull the throttle stick all the way to one end of its deflection, then use something small like a toothpick to get just a little bit (like 1/3 of a pea) of grease on the exposed inner part of the rail.
Then work the throttle stick back and forth
Okay
So jot it back all the way in one direction then just use the grease to lube the whole thing?
Pretty much
