#Hi, I need help choosing a radio and goggles for the Meteor 75 fpv drone from BetaFPV
161 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I thinked about this goggles to this drone but i don t know do it will work with drone
Would recommend getting the Radiomaster Zorro or TX12, and the Eachine EV800D goggles
hd drone
either hdzero or walksnail
I know zorro but its more expensive
2 diff versions
Ah f, missed that
The HDZero VTX won't work with analog goggles
its only a little bit more and trust me its worth it
Batteries in box ?
no but batteries are cheap
900mah 3.7v Li-ion 18350 cells are suitable for Zorro Radio Control Please note that battery products cannot be shipped separately, please purchase together with Zorro Radio Control. Specifications Capacity: 900mah Voltage: 3.7v Cell Type: 18350 Zorro Radio Series Zorro Radio Controller 18350 900mah Battery EP1 Nano Re
Okey i trust you
$9
Okey but what goggles i can buy to this drone
and also pick up a vifly whoopstor to charge the drone 1s batteries
Or better get cetus x kit ?
You mean the whoopstor
idk much abt digital besides the DJI stuff so id leave to someone else
yea
fuck
mb
You can get the kit, but still, the controller and goggles from BetaFPV aren't good value
If you really are on a budget, I would recommend getting the Analog version instead of HDZero
Yeah i know but idk what to pick i new in fpv
What drone from beta will be on analog
!startfpv
i had reco the analog verion and the ev800d in a the dji server
or that
mob7 ❤️
i love mine
Okey how much it will be
And i want a little bit good quality camera in fpv drone
Those three items plus a pack of batts and the ViFly Whoopstor charger puts you around $350 total
It's the best value you can get, and considered the bare minimum entry for a good FPV experience
anything cheaper than that is prob 💩
Can i get better drone
?
whats your total budget
I have boudget about 500$
you could get the first thing i reco in dji server
What did you suggest Kitz?
eachine ev800D,tx12 mk2 elrs (or zorro elrs), hota d6 pro, crux35 and some 3s or 4s batteries
and radio batteries
Good options, I second
MadMax, it also depends on where you want to fly. A Mobula6 is going to be indoor-only. Mobula7 can do a bit of both. Anything larger than that (like the Crux35 or Petrel120 variants) are outdoor-only, and that is a hard rule for everyone's safety
!elrs
Do you have a moment to talk about our Lord and Saviour, ExpressLRS?
ExpressLRS is the latest and greatest in control link protocols.
It is Open Source made by people from the community, for the community.
It has the longest range, the lowest latency, is easy to use and on top of that is also the cheapest option available.
It is absolutely a win/win!
Define "good" range
people have run elrs to over 100km
oh and if you want better range a good antenna upgrade for ev800d will be good
anything at this price point isnt coming with good antennas
Have to factor antennas into the budget too--probably $30-$50 for a good omni and patch pair
I know maybe i will buy
Pavo25 Whoop Quadcopter
Liter radio 3 pro
And VR03 googles
Honestly, whatever you buy, just don't buy a radio from Betafpv
Why
Mostly because they aren't a good value option for the price. Cheap hardware and proprietary design make them incompatible with external modules and they don't last. A controller is like the foundation, it's literally how you interact with your quad. For $10 more you can get the TX12 MkII, or $30 for the Zorro, both of which are much better value and quality for the price
Okey than pavo 25
RadioMaster zorro
Betafpv VR03
Still need batteries and a charger
Yeah i will buy but it will work ?
VR03 pavo 25 and zorro
It will. I'd still strongly recommend the Eachine EV800D goggles--much better quality (relatively)
They are on analog ?
Yes
Maybe used Google FPV Aomway Commander V1
Google FPV Aomway Commander V1 is on analog ?
I have they in my country for 124$
Yes. Perhaps you should look into understanding analog and HD systems a bit more before you start pushing the "buy" button
why do yo uwant the pavo 25?
its a cinewhoop
its meant to carry full size action cameras
not freestyle
or do tricks
and you need a hota d6 pro to charge it
if you are going above 1s (mobula6/7, metor65/75) you need much more expesnive batteries and a hota d6 pro to charge it
if you have the budget for that its best to get the crux35 elrs or the petrel120x elrs
make sure to get elrs on your zorro as well
and why do you want the betaflight goggles so bad
the ev800d are better
No i will chose Google FPV Aomway Commander V1
Becouse maybe i will put go pro on it and i want more flight time
But you can’t do flips and stuff on it really
It’s for stable flight
I can t do flips ?
@hearty granite what do u think abt the aomway commander bc u know a lot of abt analog goggles like that I feel
That’s freestyle flying not cinewhoop
Cinewhoops are tools
The pavo 25 won't haul a full gopro, nor will it fly for very long
What drone do you prefer for ELRS and analog up to 240$
Meh
Yeah
Crux35 or petrel120x
But i want this betafpv go pro
And for charger get hota d6 pro
Oh that thing
Could get a regular 5" for that
Or yea that’s a good point
What @hearty zephyr just mentioned also works
I never flyed fpv drone 😅
I can hurt someone 5” fpv drone
You can hurt anyone with anything
The size of the craft just changes the extent of the damage
I hit myself in the leg with a toothpick and still got a nasty bruise, it's not like they're free of causing any harm
If that was a 5"... Yeah it could've been a cut. But still just a different way of causing damage
I don't like how they look and I'm guessing they have a weaker camera quality than the Pavo 25 , yea ?
Maybe something more expensive up to 230$ and better than pavo
I would like to have a drone with a good camera as the FPV and which would have speed but also had a frame
camera quality
It's all just analog. They'll all be about the same in terms of video quality
all drones need to have a frame, I think you're covered on that front
Yes
Cinewhoops aren’t that fast
Than what fpv drone i can get
The best fpv drone freestyle for 230$
now idk what drone i can get
We told u multiple times
Crux35, petrel120x or Nazgûl5 v2 6s
All get the elrs versions
what brand Produced Nazgûl5 v2 6s ?
because i want buy from official site
It should be closer to $250
oh thanks
If you have the needed tools, I'd recommend building a 5" quad yourself
i can build but i don t know hardware and what i need to build
if you will give me parts i can build
but the micros like the HGLRC Petrel 120X, Happymodel Crux3, Crux35, or the GEPRC Smart35 are also nice options and should definitely fit under $200
id say mini not micro
smth like the tinyhawk 2 freestyle is micro
anything under 5" or 4" is micro
7" and higher is macro
Is it? 5" used to be called miniquads
5" is mini yea
