#sma adapter order confusion

Ok so I'm really confused here. I need someone to clear this up for me.
My ev800d's are rp-sma female (with the pin). So I need an adapter. Not only do I need an adapter, but I need a little coax cable for the patch antenna, and the patch antenna is sma.
So do I need a sma male to female coax cable, and then a sma female to rp-sma male adapter? is that right? please, please let me know. Thanks.
