Hello can anyone help me with my tello?

I unboxed it yeaterday and i flewnit today foe the first time ( indoors ) the app looks a little weird compared to how i thought it would be, the controlls are in the middle and i have to do a flight mode to take off because i dont have the option to take off normaly and the vision sensors position hold dont work sometimes please i would appreciate some help.

I dont have much experiece with dji drones butt

To manualy take off you put the sticks down and to eachother, the position sensors probably dont work inside bcs it cant use the gps and it might be to dark in your house for the sensor.
