eachine ev100 stay away from this. Better get a pair of ev800d or ev800dm
the radio 3 is elrs or frsky? Make sure that the cetus pro has the same as the rc
the cetus pro is ok ish for a beginner that will get a lot of crashes but imho it's too expensive. You probably can get a mobula7 or mobeetle6 or anything similar rather than the cetus pro
for example a mobula 7 right now on aliexpress is around 110 euros. If you're lucky you might get some deal with battery and charger as well
one more thing to check is that the batteries you'll buy have the same plug as the drone
The Ev100 are literally the worst you can get
Apart from melting on your face, they have a lot of other issues as well
oh k thx
frsky
k thanks
you're welcome!
if you find something and you're not sure about it send some links here
so am gonna use an ev800d and an literadio 3 (frsky) and the mobula7 or mobeetle6(whatever is cheaper)
like can it all conect with each other
?
the drone that you chose to buy must have the same RX as your literadio 3, meaning frsky on both. The goggles will pick up the analog video signal once you find the channel of the vtx on the drone. Either use search or manually switch channels until you find it
I'd strongly recommend you go with ELRS, not FrSky
he has the literadio 3 already which is frsky. Buying the radio probably goes over his budget
Annoying

for 70 euros you can get the jumper t lite and has built in elrs. I'd consider that an upgrade
So replace the literadio 3?
if you're not tight on the budget I'd say yeah
jumper t elite, ev800dm and a mobula7/mobeetle6 elrs should be a good setup
70$ for the rc, 100-130 euros for the goggles, 130-170 euros for the drone. If you're lucky and find good deals you might just get away with 300 euros
find also used radio and goggles, maybe you get lucky
Can i buy all of them in the same site so all of them will come at the same time?
(that have shipping to israel and NOT out of stock)
it really depends of the region where you live and what shops deliver there and have them in stock
try checking some local market places, like facebook market place or ebay similar websites
ev800d or ev800dm were bought a lot and you might find someone selling a pair for as low as 50-60$
all I can say is good luck finding
ok thanks
one thing
makes sure your get the mobula7 1s
cuz u can get ev800d, whatever remote, mobula 7 1s, viflywhoopstor and some batts (add about $30 usd for 5 batts to your budget)
not really, there are other alternatives to this. Don't have to look specifically for this one. For example mobeetle6 had very good reviews from most fpv youtubers
still a solid option!
yea i mean over the mobula 7 2s version
if you haven’t bought anything I am selling some aomway commanders for a good price which is a lot better compared to the ev800d’s
are you selling them at the price of ev800d/m or close?
Very close to ev800d price
Are you interested?
is it commander 1 or 2? are you EU based?
i think @undone seal knows better than me so I'll let him decide for me
Where you located
israel:/
ye
would’ve been a great choice for goggles for that price
there are people here that know more and have far greater experience with drones so feel free to take anyone’s advice around here.
k
wait so how much is the total of the shipping+the aomway commanders?
I will sell you the aomway commanders for $120
Idk how much shipping would be. I am assuming we'd have to use DHL
is it commander one or two? and do you also include antennas or that's separate
yeah good question
One and no antennas
so ev800d is prob the better option cuz it comes w antennas (shit antennas but still antennas) and i think they are just the better goggles in general
the one advantage is the commanders arent box goggles
they’re not bad antennas but can be improved. Bad antennas would be linear, like cobra x 🤷♂️
box goggles have better immersion but the ev800d can be heavy on the face and can’t use them with goggles. Don’t go for the general idea that box is bad
Best analog goggles you can get right now without going any close to $400+ is the skyzone cobra x which is a box goggle.
so go with ev800d or cobra x?
ev800d is ~$100 and lately hasn't been in stock in many international shops. Some people found some replicas, not the ones made by eachine.
cobra x is ~$250 and you can find it on ebay, banggood, aliexpress or perhaps other local/regional online shops in your area
if you have $250 to spend then definitely go for the cobra x, even consider it a long term option for analog video until you've decided to spend much more and go for dji goggles and digital vtx+cam
cobra x v2 are some of the best analog goggles
mine would start to crap out with them being like 25-50 ft away
what antennas did you get? I'm using the stock ones from the ev800dm and I got even 1km away in open field
idk some rando stock ones from rdq
its fine i just upgraded to the prodrone.pl antennas
hey @lost spoke i wanna buy all that you said in aliexpress what batts should i get?
if you get the ev800d off ali make sure they say eachine and they arent knockoffs
if your in the us why not rdq or getfpv?
Anyone wants to buy a ev800d I have one for sale.
israel
for how much
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004100153488.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.4d0f38daNbu0KB&mp=1
oh wait i don't think its eachine
Those are knockoffs
Some r decent but some r compelete shit
can you elp me find any good ev800d in aliexpress
or in any place that ship to israel
THXXX
Hey sry for pinging you
@lost spoke what batteries i should get with the mobula 7 that's not going to be too much heavy
do u have anz other stuff for sale?
tuttu, gnb or racedayquads 1s 450 mah batteries
k thanks!
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001641079846.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.6d5438dao8IVyg&mp=1
the color is purple
I found it the cheaper out of all the ones that you said its going to be good with the mobula 7?
(like not heavy so it can fly free, compatible with the mobula 7 volts and c)
sure but dont use that charger or your house will burn down
get a vifly whoopstor
Yeah ik lol
That charger comes with it but I'll use the whoopstor
Hey,
Got to ask,
Which drone is better then the mobula7 1s and still not THAT much expensive
(I swear if someone says dji fpv/avata am going to kill myself)
I mean, an Avata is better at denting your wallet than a Mobula 7. An Iflight Nazgul 5" is better at being a 5" than a Mobula 7.
Better is very subjective. A ham sandwich is better at being a sandwich than a pizza is. The Mobula 7 1s is the best 75mm whoop you can buy. The next best thing is a Moblite 7, and the next best thing to that is a Mobula 6/7, but those have to be built.
dji fpv sucks dick
So do you think better to buy iflight then mobula7?
If yes,
Then what to choose from the list (i have an Frsky controller)
@smoky sand (sorry for pinging you..)
It depends on what you need. I love the Nazgul, but I wouldn't spend the money on it until you had a good radio system. Either get a Module for your radio, or get a radio that can do One of the LoRa based protocols. ELRS is best. You'll want the range, penetration, and packet speed if you're going to fly a 5"
what module should be good ?
I'm really tight on the budget for the set (Eachine EV800D, and i still didn't bought it :/ ) so the full set with the nazgul is 418$
maybe if the module was something like 1-40~$
Wait are you saying u didn’t buy the literario yet
If so don’t get it and just get a radiomaster zorro or boxer
Elrs versions
Bc then u cld get the 6s elrs 2.4ghz Nazgûl
the literadio i do sry
Alr
.
Wait for someone to reco a good module for that to add elrs
I dont know much abt modules
oh okay thanks!
I didn't think the literadio had a module bay
It does
does it anwers yours question?
I would spend the budget on quality transmitter/goggles/charger etc, and just get a cheap small quad like the Mob7 to learn on, then get a bigger drone down the line
yeah i know i do want to learn on mobula 7 but if i buy the mobula then i probably dont gonna have the money for the nazgula
so i played in liftoff, and i think im pretty good...
The Nazgul is awesome! But you mentioned a low budget and it also costs some money in maintenance to keep a 5" in the air, a tinywhoop is very cheap in repairs
so i should go with the mobula...?
Go with the mobula and a zorro or a boxer (elrs version)
EV800D, not the -DM
so i go with literadio 3 that i have (or a boxer which is better) ,EV800D and the mobula 7?
Someone?
that sounds like the best plan. I'd keep the literadio for right now, since you are stuck with it. but that would be the first upgrade I'd do.
My Nazgul needs around $100 a month in repairs and maintenance. That's just the nature of this hobby.
Wait then i would buy the frsky mobula or should i buy the elrs version and some type of module?
you should get the ELRS version
But then what module
the best one would be the radiomaster ranger nano
Do you think its going to work with literadio? Looks like its not gonna fit...
according to this it has a nano module bay https://www.unmannedtechshop.co.uk/product/betafpv-literadio-3/
LiteRadio 3 Radio Transmitter is the newest remote control in the LiteRadio series. This transmitter features an ergonomically designed handle and has superb performance in its working time, newly updated gimbal, and multi-protocol support (Frsky version). Besides, this version supports BetaFPV configuration utility. which is a utility designed ...
here is beta's nano module, you can see a pic of it installed in the literadio https://www.unmannedtechshop.co.uk/product/betafpv-elrs-nano-tx-module/
BETAFPV Nano RF TX module is based on the ExpressLRS project, an open-source RC link for RC applications. ExpressLRS aims to achieve the best possible link performance in both speeds, latency, and range. This makes ExpressLRS one of the fastest RC links available while still offering long-range performance.
the beta module is known to be poor though. get the radiomaster
@clever inlet I'm not sure the radiomaster nano module will fit
The Literadio has a pretty deep module bay, it has the same issue that the Frsky X9 Lite has
hm yeah you might be right then
So?
Sooo I think the only other ELRS module that will fit (besides BetaFPV's) is the HappyModel ES24TX Slim Pro
What I don't know is how you'd configure it, tbh
Unless Betafpv's software can configure the module through the radio? I guess that would have to be the case in order to configure their own module as well...
oh okay!
@naive igloo can you help me find HappyModel ES24TX Slim Pro on aliexpress?
so am gonna buy all of that:

Hey,
been much of a time.
i think i wanna upgrade to the Zorro Radio cuz its much like easier to use?...
basically i think the Zorro Radio is better IMO.
so as i see in the site is the zorro coming with an antenna ( like is it sort of PNP?)
this picture is of the "ELRS Starter set" which comes with 3 receivers for your drones
the regular "ELRS" option does not
and I think going with the Zorro is a great idea 👍
so if i bought it can i just bind it with my mobula 7 or do i need the receivers?
is your mobula 7 the ELRS version?
(the ELRS set not the starter set)
yea
then it already has a ELRS receiver built in, and you do not need an external one
so i can just buy it, bind it and then start flying?
wdym?
its not coming with ones is it? 😐
nope
they sell the batteries too
That would be instead of that elrs module?
The ev800d will never come in stock on ali
Like never
Bc Banggood owns eachine so only on Banggood now
it will be instead of the elrs module and the controller
actually already got the goggles,
just waiting for the batteries to the drone
From where?
wdym?
Do they say eachine across the front?
yep
like first or second of march
lol
was fast
got the module first
then the drone and goggles together
just the batteries
maybe
that everything i bought
so far
If your in the US u shld order the batteries off race day quads bc they come fast
israel -__
-_-
That's how the goggles looks
tried, the batteries cant ship to israel or the site cant
hey, i got enough money to buy the nazgul 5...
so im thinking if to buy the nazgul 5 or the radiomaster zorro...
i have 300 dollars US, so should i buy the nazgul 5 or radiomaster zorro or should i think about buying something else???
I think the nazgul5 is always the right choice if you can find them in stock
then im going to stay with the betafpv literadio 3
and you sure not to pick something else its is an 300$..
yep
Hey,
Wanted to check on the nazgul 5 in AliExpress and there was options what should i choose (its in ILS- israel shekel)
6S elrs 2.4
assuming u hv elrs
ye
i seen someone that said that the nazgul 5 cost around 100$~ every month in repairs and maintenance
is it true?
If you constantly beat the shit out of it, maybe. Maintenance costs almost nothing as long as you don't crash
the nazgul5 is one of the stronger drones with fairly cheap and readily available parts
also I race every weekend for 4+ hours and I don't spend £100 a month on parts
so whoever said that is probably a shitty pilot
...
you just called an helper shitty pilot
If you're freestyling a bando daily with only 1 quad, i don't doubt for a second you could tally up $100 in repairs in a month.. it's a couple of batteries and motors
amm soo...
i got another 90 dollars 😐
what are you asking?
it means i can buy the nazgul and the zorro

bangin
that means that if i buy it i would have 20$ spare YAY
remember you need some lipos but don't buy them from ali
and you got a lipo charger as well?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
how much does the lipo charger cost and the batteries?....
ChatGPT being confidently wrong? Color me shocked
most people use CNHL Black or GNB for a good balance of value and performance
For longer flight times, you will generally want to choose a LiPo battery with a higher capacity (mAh). However, keep in mind that higher capacity batteries tend to be heavier, so you may need to balance the weight of the battery with the desired flight time.
Here are a few options for high-capacity, lightweight batteries that are compatible with the iFlight Nazgul5 6S:
Tattu Funfly 6S 1300mAh: These batteries have a capacity of 1300mAh, which is on the lower end for longer flight times, but they are also relatively lightweight at around 195g. They have a 100C continuous discharge rate and a 200C burst rate, which makes them suitable for high-powered flying.
GNB 6S 1500mAh: These batteries have a capacity of 1500mAh, which is higher than the Tattu Funfly, but they are also slightly heavier at around 240g. They have a 120C continuous discharge rate and a 240C burst rate, which makes them suitable for high-powered flying.
RDQ Series 6S 1500mAh: These batteries have a capacity of 1500mAh, which is higher than both the Tattu Funfly and the GNB, but they are still relatively lightweight at around 226g. They have a 120C continuous discharge rate and a 240C burst rate, which makes them suitable for high-powered flying.
Acehe Formula 6S 1300mAh: These batteries have a capacity of 1300mAh, but they are very lightweight at around 161g. They have a 95C continuous discharge rate and a 190C burst rate, which makes them suitable for high-powered flying. Their light weight can help improve the handling and agility of your drone.
Keep in mind that flight time can vary depending on a number of factors, including the weight of your drone, the way you fly, and the conditions in which you're flying. However, choosing a higher-capacity, lightweight battery can help you achieve longer flight times while maintaining good performance.
chat gpt:
you can get a cheaper charger if you have something like a laptop power supply hanging around. the ISDT Q6 Nano. but everyone always ends up buying a HOTA D6 Pro in the end. that's the $120 option
so best to go with?...
(the CHEAPER one)
any one of this?
Smarter Shopping, Better Living! Aliexpress.com
lol always aliexpress
huh?
it means if you go cheap now you spend more later
AH
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001809999396.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.main.5.44ce3c3epRZMI8&pdp_ext_f={"sku_id"%3A"12000018552933570"}&pdp_npi=3%40dis!ILS!489.95!259.66!!!!!%40211be3cd16797755900626010d06e6!12000018552933570!sea!IL!2090784617&curPageLogUid=7AKq2SRyzUQS buy this - the D6 PRO version, not the cheaper non-Pro
i fell my money Disappear
but, if you need to buy the Q6, then you need to realise that it also needs a power supply to work
you're gonna need to cut the connector off and solder on an XT60
or use an adaptor like the one in the image
o done have an xt60 connector
not sure where you get those from
I*
wdym its just an normal plug
i think
that's a picture of the D6 Pro, which has an internal power supply. that's the main reason it's recommended
the cheaper chargers need an external power supply
like this
so as you saying if i buy the non pro i get one that i need to have an laptop charger to him and solder an xt60 connector
and if i buy the pro i just need an normal plug?
No no no
If you get a hota you don’t need a laptop psu
If you get the other cheap one u linked u do
OHHH
so what the difference between the HOTA D6 Duo Pro and the non pro?
in the photos its looks the same but the pro just comes with a plug
,
the non pro needs a laptop psu as well
oh
oh and batteries?
Uh
^
The race day quads batteries are good bc they r just rebranded gnb
But also never order batteries off AliExpress
why
oof
which brand
^
but the CNHL Black is 1300mah
and which gnb - gnb sells a lot of different batteries
they don't sell lots of different 6S 1300mahs though
remember that you have to get them from a store in your country
bruh i need an site to buy this batteries if you sayin' not to buy in ali
i live in israel
rdq dont ship there
you can buy batteries from ali but they take like 40+ days to arrive, because they can't be shipped by air
https://chinahobbyline.com/ will they ship to you?
ChinaHobbyLine is the official website for CNHL RC Lipo batteries. CNHL aim at providing lithium battery enthusiasts in many countries around the world (US / CA / EU / UK / AU / RU / JP / AE) with high-quality Lipo batteries for RC CAR, FPV drones, we have a lot of cheap lipo batteries for sale, welcome to buy.
they have a hebrew site
maybe you right cuz i ordered 1s batteries, goggles, module and a whoopstar and the batteries was the only ones to not come yet
lets see
whice one to choose 1100mAh?

22.2V-22.8v?
yeah one of its best features
great

ah 43 dollars shipping
I dont think so
what about this place? https://www.core-fpv.com/search-results-page/fullsend
@hushed prawn how are iflight fullsend?
overpriced.
not surprising
https://zdrone.co.il/product-category/batteries/ there is also this place. idk what brand these are
There is but only an 18.5v CNHL black
at this point you're probably going to have to compromise
- buy less well known brands locally
or 2) buy them from ali with very long shipping
or 3) pay a lot of money for shipping from CNHL
maybe have a look on Facebook for any FPV groups and ask them where they get their lipos?
Wil try to but not now cuz its night at israel so am gonna go sleep gn
ok good night! and good luck!
Awesome
Hey,
Someone said to but there:https://readyedi.co.il/store/readyedi-lipo-battery/fpv-racing-battery/?pa_capacity-mah=1100-2000mah&pa_voltage-v=6s
Is it looks like good batteries?
And other person said to buy this cuz this have an discount...
https://a.aliexpress.com/_mrYZOIi
Smarter Shopping, Better Living! Aliexpress.com
you're going to have to take their word for it, I doubt anyone knows anything about them. they are probably re-brands of some well known cells, but it's difficult to tell
what's the estimated delivery date for you?
May 30
But the drone i ordered at 1 march said estimated delivery date is 30 march and it came something like 15 march or 14th
@clever inlet so which battery to buy here?
https://readyedi.co.il/store/readyedi-lipo-battery/fpv-racing-battery/?pa_capacity-mah=1100-2000mah&pa_voltage-v=6s&orderby=price

yes XT60

at least doesn't look like it

i can go with the one from aliexpress but you said its a long shipping ( actually the one this is 2 battery and not one)

Smarter Shopping, Better Living! Aliexpress.com
the 1900mah is too large. 1500mah would work, as would the 1300mah
so not to buy on ali?
I feel like you've given up all personal decision making on this build, which isn't very healthy. you know what the drawbacks of Ali are, it's up to you to decide if you want to wait 2 months or not, I can't help you there
in my experience almost all batteries last about 5 minutes
I used to run 1300mah on my 6S
yeah that's why most people have 4-6 batteries
it only takes 30 minutes to charge them, so if you take e.g. a car battery to the field with you, then you can recharge them while you are there and fly continuously
maybe if you are really low on money you could think about starting off with a Crux35. they cost about half what a 5" does, they feel very similar to fly (fast, agile, etc) and you use much smaller batteries, so they cost less. about 720mah 4S
so then you can buy multiple batteries
eerr I dunno. few KG maybe
is it better than an mobula 7
then same charger different batts?
yeah
k
although - the connector is wrong, you would need to change the connector on the drone, with some soldering
@clever inlet ?
it's definitely XT30
where do i get an xt60?
I usually buy them from ebay, but also check those FPV stores, or electronics stores in your country
like mouser, farnell, cpc, digikey
okay
xt30 connector:
xt60 connector:
it looks the same
maybe the right thing is not
but the one on the left is the same
XT60s are bigger
oh ok
maybe?!
who said maybe
so for a Crux35 you would need a male one, one of these, if you want to use those batteries
most lipos of those size have XT30 connectors to begin with, not sure why those are larger
so just cut old xt30 solder new xt60?
on the crux35, yeah. I'd probably desolder it rather than cut it - that way you keep the length of the connector and you don't need to strip and tin the wire again
okay
what ranage does the crux35 capable of?
in a mountain with no internet around or something like that
time to ask chatgpt!
well it's a 300mW VTX so according to this, in open air, 1 mile
1.75km
realistically less
it also depends on a lot of factors like the goggles and antennas you are using
ev800d stock antennas
probably the lower end then
so the ranage will be????
???
I honestly can't say. it depends on so many things. if you find the range isn't good enough you can always put in a high power VTX later on
also, this is really rude, it's making me not want to help you
sry:(
kinda shit with the ev800d stock antennas bc they suck balls
So i should buy good antennas?
Definitely
The patch antenna is basically useless on it
You should get a TrueRC Singularity stubby and I use a lumenier axii 2 patch antenna
Which is best?
?
And how does it gonna effect the range?
( Like is it for example was 2 km range i dont really know how much range it is with the stock ones then how much with the other antenna you recommend)
With a new patch antenna you can get almost twice the range if it’s pointing at the drone
You said you use an lumenier axii 2 patch antenna and said to get trueRC singularity stubby,
Which ones to get?
Both
Oh wow
An Omni and a patch
How much it costs?
A new singularity is $20 but if your in Canada or the US you could maybe get it at half price
Iarael
But the patch antenna is what’s important if your flying far away
Israel
oof
Yep
So get the 2 antennas or the patch
Only the patch*
An Omni and a patch
Okay
Nope, Israel seems like a hard place to get parts to
Hey,
I found the antennas but i dont think its real..
Like its doesn't look like the normal ones
...
What does that mean?
Can you send an example?
wait 1 sec
cant find the thing i found last time,
but there are few of the this antennas (TrueRC Singularity stubby) like i need probably 1 and not a set of 2/4...
i just can't find one.
seems like it sells at least 2 at a time
oh wait
actually find but what should i choose rhcp or lhcp?
RHCP
35$ for the TrueRC Singularity stubby
the lumenier axii 2 patch antenna,
i can only find the version without the 2 the first version probably.
but there is the lumenier axii 2 patch antenna but its axii HD...
its the same thing?
oh
so just buy the normal without the 2? (that what i found https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005004714491114.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.6f1b38dawerISS&mp=1)
Smarter Shopping, Better Living! Aliexpress.com

i have only batts israeli site

so buy it in ali?

Theres is other things that not like the real but most important the antenna connectors look the same
@lost spoke So should i buy the antennas you recommended ? (Sorry for pinging you)
Those antennas are good but send the link to the goggles you are buying so I can check connectors and polarity
