Does the game always says failed to connect everytime you restart it?

If it continues to persist try doing this, if your on steam set it to offline mode then open the game wait till 5s then exit, then set the steam to online open the game if that didn't connect try. Turning your wifi off open the game don't exit just click the Windows button turn wifi on exit the game then open the game again see if it connects it..

I did that issues before I couldn't connect even tho I have wifi on.
It might be other issues if your wifi signal is too weak then the game won't connect..
