It's been like this for months for me and I don't know what to do, I've used game chat before but in like the last 4 months I've haven't been able to use it, and it's not any privacy settings preventing me from communicating, this only happens to me on wwz.

if its text channel that you type and when post the message it doesnt shows up, then its kinda ok... its a bug that shows up sometimes, you cant see your own messages but other players can read it, usually a game reset fixes it... but its kinda strange that its happening for months as you said...
so its probably something more serious
