hey i'm trying to make a mod for elden ring nightreign that modifies or creates a weapon effect and have some questions if someone can help me. I want to make a mod that changes the "attacks summon wraiths" effect trigger to be on critical hits or charge attacks or something else instead of the current trigger.

  • is there some way to test specific weapon passive effects? if I create a new effect, I would need to get a weapon with that effect to drop which would make testing basically impossible
  • is there a guide explaining the parameters and tables of nightreign in smithbox? I want to know what kind of fields change what, so I can change the right field to change the trigger of an effect

if you want to test the effect
the way i use is if the effect is for the character like max Hp or damage negation at full Hp i add the effect to a consumable like greases
if it for the weapon i add the effect to the weapon itself
