#Adding Solaire to Tomb of the Giants.

Hey guys, as the title implies, I'm trying to get it so Solaire can be summoned and assist with Gravelord Nito. Problem is, I can't figure out how to make the summon function correctly. Solaire spawns in Nito's arena, but just stands there, and I've used Smithbox, Notepad++, and DSR Debug to test my work out, and some results are promising, but getting Sunbro to help with Nito ain't one of them sadly. If anyone has a guide or rough idea on how to help me, that'd be wonderful. Lastly, sorry if this post's too long, I just wanna give as much info here as I can.

you might need to add the battle ai for him in that map

alright i knew of that video, but man did it help me. can't believe i forgot to paste into the luagnl file as well. ah well, appreciate the assistance. i'm gonna try testing it now, but first, i do need to put the script lines for solaire at the bottom of each lua file correct? or did i do something wrong here?

cant remember off the top of my head, i just know you need to edit the 3 files and then repack once completed

#

but new entries go in the luangl, lauinfo, and witchybnd files

#

and then you repack with witchy

Hey I'm back, yeah I think I'll need to readjust the summon sign placement through smithbox, since it doesn't appear at all where I placed it. Any good clues on where's ideal for that? Gonna use map editor in smithbox for this too, and I'm having a hard time of knowing where to place placements with no visuals on flat surfaces either. Or is DSMapStudio better suited for this? But the script's are prolly correct. Not sure.

smithbox is a fork of dsmapstudio

#

which is to say they are effectively the same program

ive never messed with actually placing new summon signs though
