#DS3 Textures, specifically Roughness

Hi, I recently tried porting my weapon model from ER to DS3, and was faced with the same issue, the weapon was almost pure white. I found that in DS3 roughness maps need to be much darker, and from what I've seen they're mostly just darkened grey-scale versions of the diffuse texture, maybe with some tweaks. This is what I did, anyway. It doesn't look too different, and is still metallic, here's comparison:
