After importing an fbx onto an enemy (putting rot fungus on a Blackflame Monk in this case), sometimes the mesh will fade out at certain distances. How can I increase this distance/prevent it entirely?

importing the model with flver editor 2.55 and then actually editing it (moving it, duping it, assigning materials, etc) in 2.4.
