#Finding a Sound ID that's tied to a location rather than an enemy

@gusty walrus So, I'm following your "Soundbank Editing" tutorial on the souls modding wiki, and I'm trying to get that big booming sound that plays when Metyr does her quasar attack. Specifically, the sound comes from that wave that travels along the floor after the beam hits the ground.

Due to this, the sound is not tied directly to any of her animations, an fxr. I already realized that the sound that plays from the fxr only plays in Metyr's arena, even when she's dead. I have no clue where to look to find a Sound ID that's tied to a location rather than an enemy. I might already know what the number is, since i can look at the FXR in FXR Playground, but I don't know what .bnk file it's in.

ok well i did a work around solution of just using a sound that the players can already use instead off the one i was trying to use but it'd still be nice to know how to do this

Yeah well it's either in map bnk (can look up the map ID in Smithbox) or just in her chr bnk

#

Either ways, I'm not sure there is a way to easily locate the Sound ID or anything

#

if it's in the map, surely it's an emevd thing

#

and if it's an FXR

#

Then I'm not sure there is a way except listening to all wems and locating it like that
