Pretty new to modding, and I used params editor in Smithbox. I found a lot of cool stuffs can be done using a DLL mod like Glorious Merchant and Elden Resizer.

Could you share a little about where to start to learn, and make some toy mod like player HP modification or adding a speffect to player?

I tried to read libER and ErdTools but failed to grasp. :(

it's definitely pretty difficult

try reading up on eladidu's script exposer, it's a lot easier to grasp imo as it's mainly an API for doing cool shit in lua
