Just wondering if there are any tutorials on adding custom dodge/movement animations for a custom TAE? Do you just copy the a00 hkx files and add behaviors like a regular moveset? Or is there more to the process? Just curious as I couldn't find anything on the wiki.

Well, the dodge and roll animations range from 027100 to 027117 (for light and medium dodges) and up to 027143 (for flat rolls). You can find these animations in "c0000_a00_hi-anibnd.dcx" and replace them with any other.

To edit them, you need DSAnimStudio; this tool will help you edit the TAEs and preview the animations.

I only change the vanilla and I don't know if it can work by editing the HKS to run animations of a custom TAE when the player has a certain weapon or effect.

I do know where to locate them and I did try, I was more curious on the latter. Adding them to a specific weapon lol. I didn't want to effect every weapon's dodges with my custom ones, so I was hoping there was a way to do it JUST to a specific TAE.

Do you know how to add the custom movement animations and idle animations by chance? I know I've seen that without replacing the original files, just unsure how people do it.

I suggested the HKS edit because I see a lot of clever mods do that. How it forces the animations of a custom TAE for a given weapon, I can't tell you.
