So I've had great success using the Dantelion FXR3 editor for DS3 sfx files. but haven't quite found anything for Dark Souls Remastered. I did find the tool that converts the corresponding SFX file over to an editable XML file. But, I'm really missing all the extra context that the Dantelion editor added to the DS3 sfx files. So, are there any leads or tips on editing these XML ffx files for DSR?
The reason I'm asking is that I want to edit the torch sfx ids (511 is for torches in undead burg, 530 for torches in undead asylum) to actually emit a light source. I'm modifying the light, shadow, and light scattering ids, so it looks odd with the torches not emitting any light, but still having the fire effect. And I sadly can't just add a BTL light source like I can in ds2 and ds3, because I'd of course prefer to just do that lol.
