I'm mainly experienced modding Dark Souls 3 and Dark Souls 2. I'm finding DSR much more obtuse to mod. Adding shadowcasting is easy enough, of course. But I want to make the shadows themselves darker. I can already designate their color, which is pure black. But they are hardly visible in game. Need a diffuse setting to adjust but haven't found it yet. Anyone have any tips of finding it in DSMapStudio or another tool?
#Making shadows darker in Dark Souls Remastered

ShadowBank in Drawparam is the only super-accessible part I'm aware of
beyond that Stayd would be the person to ask
shadow bank IDs (but secretly indices I think, which is funny) for maps are applied per-collision/map piece/object in msb
and you probably already know that in msb, those things also have fields that determine if they should cast shadows or not
also while you're doing this, double check shadows in Great Hollow because lol
