So ive made a duplicate of unsheathe to use sekiro anims with, and in DSAnimStudio everything is working fine for the most part, but when i try use the ash of war in-game it plays a completely different animation (Sword Dance then i can follow up input to do determination for some reason), if i make normal unsheathe (at TAE 614) play the altered anims using hkx override they play, so im not sure why the new entry isnt working, i tried both TAE IDs 626 and 680 and they both have the same issue

A few things that can mess up anims are ->
Making changes to Art or AoW while having a AoW on your weapon that was equipped at grace.
Use of Wrongly referenced Arts or AoW
Multiple SpEffects cycling one another
Some arts require a buff and won't play like they should if this is not present or sometimes the wep looks buffed but its only visuals.
If duplication does not work with what you are trying now. Yesterday's method works for sure I have givin myself unsheathe a few times on various weapon types.
hm alright, i check it out, i started by just making sure the anims would work on the original TAE and it did, it just failed when i made it a new entry
I don't know if a guide or info has detailed steps that need to be respected but I have a feeling that the way you currently are doing this might have a mistake or perhaps you think you have all pieces needed but something is missing...sometimes one small detail can make or break a sequence. I dont think it's just badluck that 2x in a row they are not properly functional. Maybe try to find a dif guide or verify if any of the steps might be incomplete or contain small mistakes.
yeah it might be, ill just fully remake it, i thought it might be some weirdness cuz its a stance AoW but i might just be missing a step
