The main reason this won't happen anytime soon is it is a massive undertaking to port mcMMO to another API, time which could instead be spent on adding new things or fixing existing bugs in mcMMO, I would welcome help from other devs if they volunteered it, but don't expect a Magma/Sponge/Forge/Fabric/etc port from mcMMO anytime soon

This does not require much coding or support actually. The majority of hybrid servers already provide info about modded content.
Question: can you simply add a config to add additional items to count them as a tool for mcMMO action? For example, allow additional pickaxes. Just by item name. Many plugins already do it. That way, any modded pickaxe simply can be included in the config. Same for blocks (though I see blocks are already supported - managed to add it.)
