Try going through the vanilla files and changing bits, also look at dingsels videos on yt they are quite helpful

trial and error, try changing some stuffs on default json ui and see in game what's gonna happen, also you can visit the bedrock wiki to see some examples you can use then use that to experiment and see what gonna happen to the changes you did

just keep messing around with things, even if you don’t fully understand them yet, that’s how you start learning and seeing how everything connects. you’ll start to recognize patterns real fast once you test things often.
