but you can implement it yourself
check the offhand and mainhand if player is holding totem
in entityHurt event,
if the player was holding last tick
and if the player is no longer holding next tick
you can detect it

you can also check player's effectnesses
I was going to do those same functions but I think it may have bugs so I'll have to think of some other way and thanks for taking away the doubt
