To add instead of replacing them, you'd just copy ajd paste the player.entity.json file, and add the definitions for the animations you madw

#

Then either animate them directly there, or modify the players vanilla animation controller so that it animates your new ones when needed

#

Or use a separate animation controller

Wiki = overwhelming ;-;

fluid moss
#

I guess, what's overwhelming about it? How are you going about reading it? It's just a really good source of information, as it's worked on by multiple people rather than just one

#

Yes, it can be overwhelming if you take it all in at once, but take it slow, go over it one bit at a time

idek how to get to the animating ui on blockbench 💀

fluid moss
#

It's in its own tab

jolly harbor
#

which selector is it to get the skin?

#

i want it to be compatible with imported skins

#

BE my Version type btw

#

nvm found that

#

but animate ain't there

#

only pose and paint

fluid moss
#

You're using bedrock entity, right?

#

Not player model?

#

And start with the vanilla model

#

Don't worry about textures btw

#

That's already handled as you're working from a vanilla file

jolly harbor
#

I used minecraft skin was its name

fluid moss
#

Ah, that's your issue

#

You could probably just right click the vanilla player geometry file, and then choose to open it wtih blockbench tbh

#

that would be faster and use hte right kind of file

jolly harbor
#

Is there any other way?

fluid moss
#

I mean, that's the best way. Do you not have the vanilla packs?
