You can alter it like pretty much any other entity's file. There are only a few differences for it. The ones that I'm aware of is that the default texture defined in the file is replaced with the player's skin, and you have access to variable.is_first_person. First person animations also seem to have a different coordinate system than for third person, and so can take some time to tune
