If I wanted my mob to make a sound, when it spots it’s attacking target, how would I put that in for the mob In the sounds.json file? I apologize if this is a silly or redundant question

You have to define the sound in the sound_definitions.json.

And then use the format used in sounds.json to use that specific sound for your entity.
